The staff seems friendly and welcoming but behind closed doors they gossip all day about parents and children. They do bare minimum cleaning so my child was always sick and the toddler teachers don't properly wipe the children when changing diapers. My child never had a diaper rash and after the first week had a horrible rash. Also other parents complained about the severe diaper rashes their children were getting. I took my child out right after I saw the poor quality of the staff. The teachers are on their cellphones most of the day and sit around at a table and gossip about parents and children. (My friend quit after hearing them gossip too much about people she knew and she wanted to work somewhere where they actually took care of the children) I didn't like what I was hearing about me and did not expect that from my child's teacher. They also have favorites so if your child isn't one of them expect them to receive no attention. You expect your child to be well taken care of and paid attention to and as a mother and a teacher this day "care" is just horrible.

I first want to express my deepest gratitude to Jeremie the principle of the Englewood Campus and Anne- Sophie the owner on the education and nurturing environment they provided for our Son. Through their commitment, vision and dedication for the FAA community, our son was able to matriculate into the french educational system with ease. For that ,my husband and I are extremely grateful. I had many fairs. How well our son would do with moving to a new country , entering a new school system without knowing anyone. That tension was put to rest with how well our son has been doing. Our experience at the French American Academy in Englewood with the curriculum , and how the staff foster learning and community togetherness has been truly impactful on our family. The school was Lincoln Elementary School, small and cute just like the children. It was no more than 3 floors and the children were just a joy to be around. Watching school nurse Bull was just a joy. She did recycling, fundraising, student government, and went above and beyond for the children. I would recommend this school just because your children will be in a safe environment (the school is locked), watched over by school nurse, encouraged to succeed, and actually accomplish their goals within this education system

Attempts to meet in person to discuss my child's transition out of the daycare (with two months' notice given which I have copies of via email) were declined, and communication became passive-aggressive over email. While concerns I raised were ultimately addressed, the interactions left me feeling uncomfortable rather than reassured. My son came home with other children's' diapers and clothes on many occasions. There was so much disorganization. The owner monitors the comments of parents on private Facebook groups and is retaliatory towards them when they post anything critical. You will see this on their responses to critical reviews online as well. She sent out weekly emails reprimanding all parents for the actions of a few. I paid for an extra hour of care each day and came on time, often earlier than I needed to, but I still received these emails reprimanding everyone in the class. There was noticeable staff turnover, including two directors within one year. One departing director communicated to parents via email that the work environment was challenging, which understandably raised concerns among families. Some teachers appeared inexperienced and were frequently on their phones during pickup times, often requiring me to get their attention. While the teachers were kind to my child and did a good job teaching him, this was concerning. Information shared in the app was occasionally inaccurate (for example, meals reported as fully eaten when food was returned mostly untouched). The daycare itself is very small and lacks enough of a large open play space which is concerning, especially in the winter time. Parents were not allowed to enter classrooms to drop off or pick up their children. A friend of mine in town shared with me that her twin girls were coming home with bite marks on them and the owner denied that anyone was biting them and refused to allow them to look at the camera to see what happened. The communication style and leadership environment significantly impacted our comfort level as parents and ultimately led to our decision to leave. I am sharing this review to provide honest, respectful feedback based on our experience. I have noticed that some critical reviews appear to have been removed in the past. My intention is not to discourage others, but to offer transparency and encourage continued improvement.

My daughter loves attending Reformed Church Nursery School, and I love sending her. I never have…read morefelt nervous leaving her. I know she is in excellent hands! It is a very nurturing environment and very safe. My daughter has not only learned a lot, but has become more social. This is a great place, in my opinion, priceless. This is not a daycare, but a school! There is structure and learning. Very affordable! Just the best place!!!
