The restaurant was the first disappointment, all they had was a choice of about 6 entrees that ranged from $25 to $35 no appetizers or anything else on the menu that was shown on the website. The wedding was a disaster as the owner messed up a lot of the things promised to the bride and groom. The food for the wedding was terrible, it was Chinese food that tasted like it came from a box. This place needs new management as the current owner doesn't have a clue how to run a hotel.

Unless you want to stay in a run down cabin....do not stay here.

They told us they had lots of firewood when in fact they didn't have any. they allowed us to book without telling us there's major construction going on and when we arrived our site was being occupied by the contractors vehicles. When leaving we asked that they move the truck and utility trailer that was blocking the sani dump and we're met with extreme hostility. We had a contractor walk through our site uninvited and proceed to swear at us and tell us to pick up after our dog... that had just seconds prior, gone to the washroom. they have road crews utilizing their motel and the diesel trucks are constantly in and out so it's extremely noisy. all of the spots that were occupied seemed to be unoccupied trailers which is a shame as people who want to camp can't. they also allow their prime spots to be rented out for a whole season by one person so nobody else gets to enjoy them. The garbage cans were not emptied in our 4 day stay. we won't return. we suggest to spend the $42 a night on a more well kept and more well mannered campground. We will also be passing our review onto my family members who organize our family reunions there every two years and rent out a minimum of 40 rooms, cabins and sites.

Pros: the rate was cheap; updated bathroom with good water pressure; beds were comfy…read more Cons: air conditioner was loud and did not work very well...dark, poorly lit room; the floor we were on was accessible only by stairs which is a hassle if you have heavy luggage; the parking area is small and unsecured. The evening staff were kind of unattentive and talked to each other about personal topics while 'helping' us, and I was NOT impressed by them smoking right next to front entrance. (on several occasions) However the morning lady was very friendly and efficient, which somewhat made up for her coworkers.. Overall I wasn't wowed but I guess you get what you pay for!

Review about lunch at the cafe:…read more I cannot find fault! We stopped by here for lunch on our travels back to the Okanagan and are so glad we did! We sat on the patio with our golden retriever. The waitress / server was GREAT. She was attentive, brought a water bowl and to go container with chicken for our dog (which we ordered of course). We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered porch. We ordered from the menu and everything was great. I got the Cobb salad with extra meat on it. I'm trying to eat high protein, low carb, and the server was very helpful in modifying my salad to be more in line with what I was looking for. Everyone at my table enjoyed everything we had. My husband loved his club wrap. The server was back often to refill drinks etc... We will always stop by here for lunch when traveling this way, we loved that there was a quality restaurant in this small town!
