She handled both events professionally and with a great eye for framing, lighting and spontaneity. Richel Lavette is the consummate professional photographer. Her skill set includes image set up, proper lighting, images that tell a story, taking charge of large group photos with incredible tact, and looking for the small details that make a good image even better. Ms. Lavette can see what others do not. Her experience, and speed in finding the right images tell an unparalleled story. She requires initial input from the client, and once she understands the priorities, Richel can work independently with little to no supervision. But, beyond her obvious skills as a photographer, she has a strong work ethic and is always ready to capture a spontaneous moment that some photographers simply do not see. Her personality helped my husband and me instantly feel at ease in our elopement photoshoot, which is noticeable in the photos. I also appreciate that she welcomed our ideas for the photos and she was very open to exploring different poses. She also delivered a funny photo to us in the photo gallery that I really wanted, which I appreciate a lot. It shows that she listens and also has a good sense of humor too! Overall - Reagan ended up taking photos for an additional amount of time, delivering all of the photos early, and providing many more photos than the range that was originally stated in the contract.
