First shot right into the club house ? Just another Saturday at greenwood. Don't stress it. Nice laid back spot to try to fix that nasty slice of yours. The course itself can be a little rough at times. If it's rained recently , the drainage is poor , puddles may form. Often times the course has "walking only" days after rainstorms , where carts are prohibited in order to protect both the carts and the course. When it's a dry season the fairways can become hard and begin to form dirt cracks , and patches of dead grass. You might hit it 50 yards , but it'll bounce another 30 after that. This seems to be advantageous for beginners , but off putting for the vets. Around hole 6 , you enter horse fly territory. You can normally avoid them with a cart , but on those wet "walking only days" you become an easy target for them.
