We had to park so far away from the fields we played on, the grass would have clumps left over from mowing, and worst of all goose poop EVERYWHERE! I would look like an idiot wearing black rain boots because I didn't want goose crap all over my shoes! These fields here at Clearfield are very well maintained. There is absolutely no goose poop or clumps of grass. Parking is a bit closer. There are a few well maintained tennis courts as well, a pool, and also a kids area with little water slides and such. I'm not sure what the policy is for using these, and I tried to find out on their website and got nowhere, but I do know it is open to all residents.

There are no chairs, no snack shack, no shade. The cement area around the pool is no shows allowed and swim attire required. Kids under 48 inches need an adult, max two kids per adult. The adult is supposed to be IN the water with the child. Nothing is allowed in the pool area. Nothing. Everything including shoes and towels have to be left in the locker room. No chairs, no bags, nothing. Not sure if they would allow a parasol. But the pool is long, the water is clear, and there are three lifeguards out at a time. At 11am on a Friday, we basically had the place to ourselves. That being said, don't expect to get in as soon as it opens. You can access the locker room right at 11am but you couldn't get to the pool until ten after.

Reducing 1-star due to recent visit (2 years since last)…read more We went on a Friday, expecting reduced crowd volume (non-US holiday). Crowd volume still seemed heavy, but manageable. What wasn't manageable was their processing of entrees to get in. They had a single station to process everyone, and the payment system was taking forever. We arrived at 10am when the pool opened, and didn't actually get in until 11am. A full hour wait is pretty outrageous. Having a second payment station would have made it much quicker. Of course you can expect lower food quality at these types of places, but this was still disappointing. Frozen-pizza quality pizza, for more than a legit pizza, and then they overcooked it on top of that. The waterpark itself was still fun, but eventually our kids will outgrow it. Still good for small kids though (ages 2-8).

Room: Comfortable for 4 people, including an infant. They happily supplied a crib but you can't reserve it ahead of time. You had to request it when you check-in. They will then deliver it to your room within 10 minutes and leave it to you to set it up. Yes, you can hear tons of noise but it's a family resort. We had a technical malfunction during our stay with the door and they were quick to repair it and offering us a different room if we wanted (which we declined). The cable in the room is WEIRD! I wish they had supplied an outline of the stations because it wasn't obvious where to find what. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable and loved having direct access to the parking lot as well as the hotel. Water park: Tons of fun for young kids! Lots of life jackets for young swimmers. Lifeguards appeared very attentive and were quickly stopping any unruly behaviour. It was nice and warm inside the park and they have a shop that sells anything you might have forgotten...except swim diapers, they don't sell those! Arcade: Everything was working when we were there and lots of fun for the kids. Lots of options for prizes as well. The oasis poolside snack bar, which is fully licensed, is my new favourite place. I made no less than 8 trips there during my stay. Their mocktails and cocktails were delicious. Food was fresh and 4 flavours of dippin' dots as well. The only breakfast option is a paid all-you-can-eat buffet. $10 for kids and $20 for adults. This part was frustrating as my child was sick most of the weekend and if you just wanted a cup of juice you were stuck. Also, I was never hungry enough to warrant the adult buffet price. I just wanted coffee... For those who only want a cup of coffee in the morning: they do offer complimentary coffee and tea to the room or you can go to the lobby and pay $2.80 for a delicious cup of coffee that comes out of a preset machine. After my first cup, that became my second favourite part of the hotel (after the Oasis snack bar). The one downside? The front desk staff! On Saturday morning, while I was enjoying the coffee described above, I saw at least 3 different parties at the desk asking to speak to management for various issues. On our checkout day, I wanted to delay our checkout as I had 2 sick children and we had an hour before an important meeting. My son just wanted to stay in bed while we waited. Upon asking the front desk if we could delay our checkout I heard a curt "no" on the phone before they hung up. Instead he used the little energy he had, to walk around the arcade for the hour. It wouldn't deter me from staying there again but just wanted to let others know, they aren't flexible on their policies. Overall, it was an amazing weekend away! I would definitely stay there again!

The boys came yesterday with their grandma and had a blast. I brought them back today. Even though it was a beautiful day, the pool wasn't that busy. Plenty of seating and room in the pool. I spent some time in the infinity hot tub. It's not too hot or overly chlorinated like the hot tub in my gym. Just what I needed after a wedding, and two days following leg day as the DOMS kicked in. The location is nice. It's by the marina off Lake Ontario next door to the Wilson Boathouse so we were treated to some live music Great place. Hopefully it continues to be an asset to the community.

It's a pretty modern facility but it has nothing on the nearby YMCA where I go. I think quite a few Cheektowaga residents don't even know it exists. And one of the guys who comes here had the cheek-to-walk-out on me while I was talking to him.

Went here to rent a shelter fir Mang Park fir this weekend…read more The worker was very friendly, thoroughly explained everything to me that was involved in renting a shelter. The cost for the shelter for the day ($80.00), the deposit ($300.00) which I'll get back the day after if no one destroys it. Rules, permit, etc.... I didn't realize there was so much to go through just to have a cookout at a park with a roof over our heads. Anyways, it was quick & easy.
