This place is infested with…read moremultiple species of cockroaches, there's mold everywhere, they do not clean the stairwells literally ever, and there's a water leak somewhere almost constantly, resulting in weekly water shut offs. The building manager is barely there, so ann old bigoted woman who cannot help you in anyway with anything is the point of contact most days, and the owners are beyond rude. The apartments come dirty, and then they charge you for it when you leave, even if you live there 9 years and leave it spotless. The pool burns your skin because the idiots don't know how to take care of it. The parking lot will give you a flat tire. The elevators break down monthly and it took them a year to fix the one. The list goes on. It's a terrible place to live and you should absolutely never consider this shit hole.

We have a fabulous view. The apartment has lots of natural light and closet space! The whole complex is super clean, renovated and up to date! There is a great gym with a huge selection of fitness equipment. I can't wait till summer to tan by the pool. The best part is the location. I can walk to Whole Foods and do all my grocery shopping! Lakewood is filled with cute fun bars! Living at 1 OAK has made me love Cleveland. I HIGHLY recommend this building. Management also let me know they are installing a Starbucks machine in the lobby!!!

I am on a second round of AC problems and currently sitting here with my kids bedroom wide open to the outside of the apartment due to wall being taken down and the ac missing. it's been sitting like this for two hours now, no maintenance men in sight. when I went to the office to inquire, the office staff were rude and provided no answer or solution. I'm so tired, I have never been treated this way in my life.

Trash all over the floor, and I mean all over, yet management just lets it sit there. Loud music pouring out from every door. No regard for other people. And management encourages it by saying they have the right to listen to the music as much and as loud as they want. What about MY right to peace and quiet? The smell of reefer also pours out from every door. My neighbors smoke it day and night, and the smell seeps into my apartment. The smell fills up the hallways. You can't breathe fresh air! I am constantly spraying air freshener. I'm sure all these people have medical cards to be able to use it. It's a hell-hole. I cannot wait to move out, which will be very soon. If you value your sanity. do not live here.

The building has swipe in security passes on the elevator and unit doors. Speaking of doors, the door to each unit is massive and secure. The unit was also pretty soundproof. We did hear people out in the halls on Friday evening but nothing loud and nothing that went on too late. Our unit had a queen bed, flat screen tv, keurig, washer and dryer, large closet, WiFi. The lobby is nicely decorated, there are three small work spaces, the second floor has a pool and clubhouse (I think there was a beer tap). Coffee in the lobby. There is a gym but I did not see it, and parking. They had everyone on the pool deck to watch the eclipse and it was spectacular. This building is across the street from the RTA, down the street from the West Side Market and Ohio City restaurants. This was a very convenient base of operations for our trip to Cleveland. We did not rent a car and were able to walk most places, catch an Uber.

Unfortunately, I had not read these reviews before I moved in, but they are very understandable now…read morethat I'm here.. so I decided to write a review before I stage left, I noticed that the difference of review confirms my personal observation and opinion and experience with Ashley and Oleg as property managers...like two teenagers on a high school campus without any supervision definitely treat people of color or darker tone differently, I'm a newyoriccan and I think that I have witnessed that prejudice and my neighbors as well... as my own conclusion is formed because they have the ability to be kind -I seen it with others, and they were kind when enticing me to sign the lease, but it quickly changed immediately after I had already shipped all of my inventory to my new apartment at Stonebridge I instantly regretted being here.. because they made absolutely every encounter almost impossible, and if you cannot communicate with management, and I choose not to because the disrespect is abysmal ...you cannot live comfortably, especially with all of the defects this cheaply made and poorly put together building. I can compare to a Lego style or tape and glue type of structure that is nowhere near luxury that they claim or charge for... I did notice hidden fees, sneaking up almost consecutively month-to-month before I decided to cut my losses and back out. Where I come from disrespect is not tolerated. It's the law. It's civil decency respecting your neighbors Customer Service. This is a dystopian nightmare.. the smell of the hallway smells like dog poop, and my neighbor smokes like a chimney. Dirty pipes sinks and dishwasher...also They have sprinkler alarm system so when that causes a fire, my whole entire apartment will be ruined with water sprinkler. The back door provides no security from the homeless population nearby and the smell of mold, especially in the living room, makes it hard to even sit there because it aggravates my allergies, the vent circulating, the central air and cooling must be so dirty that not only does it stop working properly -but it's contaminated in terms of air quality. I moved from New York to Cleveland because of the crowdedness and the smog in New York City Manhattan to move near the Great Lakes and Cleveland hospital because I am a retired veteran. The staff is always on duty. They never hold a door. They never ask how I'm doing. They totally don't want me here we call this eviction by harassment they make you feel so uncomfortable that you wanna crawl underneath your skin just as you're pulling the key out of your pocket to go into your home ..home is where the heart is, but Stonebridge is where it's not ...this was a major mistake. I wish that the head of K and d management would teach these two children, the meaning of respectful service.. i'm not surprised to hear their bed bugs in the building. The walls are made of a thin sheet rock not only can you hear everything from your neighbors but if I stay here, I will just be a sitting duck for the bed bugs to come ...most people that tolerate this place are just young heavy drinkers. This is not a family friendly home.. and yes, the security is terrible and very weird. She's obsessed with all the dogs that come into the apartment. She should be more interested with Security and not losing packages.. there's times that the fob that we use to get into the building doesn't work because the electric is not working on the door and on a hot day. The building will definitely lose power but not call you or provide any generator service while your food in your refrigerator expires. Oh ps the common lounge area that's described in the website does not exist.. my specific mailbox is constantly left open and when I left a note for the mailman to address it and ask him why it was Open Ashley took down the sign. She literally tried to intervene between me and the post office and when I asked her to fix it well you can guess the rest.
