Came here on a Saturday morning right when they opened. There were only 2 other people in there and we ordered first. I would like to say that I come here alot and have always loved the food and had great service, but this visit was different. We ordered our sandwiches to go so maybe the was the issue? We ordered 3 sandwiches and they took an incredibly long time to be ready especially since we were the only ones who had ordered. The person who took our order was not friendly either. As they were making our sandwiches they were also complaining about how they didn't want to be at work. I'm obsessed with this place! What a cute and warm cafe with such a chill ambiance. I loved the charming and rustic decor; the psychedelic art was what caught my eye. I tried the Heath Bar coffee and a combo whole hoagie, which was enough for both me and my husband so very generous portions. The bread was hot and fresh (housemade!) and not soggy from the meat and sauce. While I did enjoy the Heath Bar coffee, it was definitely on the sweeter side. I'd ask for another shot of espresso next time to balance it out or ask for less sweet. Delicious hoagies and great service. Quaint cafe serving coffee and delicious lunch. Atmosphere was rustic, with local elderly folks playing card games in the back area and younger ones finishing up lunch and meetings when we got in at around 2. Servers were friendly (one more than the other) and super accommodating. Food was awesome. I didn't expect much, but the hoagie was yum, the pita was absolutely mouthwatering, and the cup of chili was one of the best I've had. I was happy cuz the chili had very little beans, and a popping flavor. Just what I needed. Walk around the back outside and you get to a park and a nice view of the Mississippi River. Was in town to visit the Marine Art Museum and stopped here for a quick lunch before heading home. Space is nice, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I had the soup (white chicken chili) and the 1/3 hoagie (vegetarian) special. The chili was very good, the hoagie was just okay - sorta flavorless. But the bread was very good. I polished everything off, and had room for a peanut butter cookie on the way out. I'd stop in again! read more

Was in town and needed an afternoon pick me up, so stopped in this adorable and cozy coffee shop in downtown Winona. So happy I stopped here because the service was friendly and fast and I loved my cup of coffee! From the outside, it looks small but upon walking in, it's much bigger with plenty of booths and tables to enjoy a meal or a cup of tea or coffee. Ok... not sure what the hold up is for their limited menu, but it took FOREVER to get two half sandwiches and soups on Sunday afternoon. Yes, they were very busy, but for a place that has less items than a Subway, it took 40 minutes to get our meals. (Others we're getting their food before us, and their wait was only 10 minutes.) My family loves Acoustic and brings anyone new to Winona here to try this little coffee and sandwich cafe. I've been here a few times with them and I brought my parents here when they came up for my wedding. For my birthday, Acoustic even gave me a free meal, so I'm gonna be really biased. Don't be turned off by the price of their whole sandwiches. On the chalkboard, the price of a whole sandwich is more than $10, but I don't think I've ever seen someone order one. Most people get the 1/3 or 1/2 with a soup and are more than filled up by the meal. Their whole sandwiches would probably be big enough for two people. My guess is that it would be worth the price too (not only for the size) because their ingredients are really fresh and high quality. I really like the shredded lettuce, when it is warmed up in their sandwich press, it just has an amazing taste. I've had a few things on the menu and I've enjoyed them all. My in-laws really like their Pitas, but my wife and I really prefer their Hoagies. My wife's sisters always get a special coffee that isn't on the menu when they come here. They've sworn me to secrecy, so I can only say that its way too sweet for me, but they go crazy for it. Fun little place and a must visit if you are in Winona. It is right next to their movie Theater, so it would be convenient to stop by for a snack/drink before or after a flick too. I've been told this place is popular for dates. read more

Went to get a cup of coffee this am with Gary and Sage to reflect on good old days and ignorant cashier and staff were trying to tell us Sage could not join us inside the restaurant, even after declaring he was a medical alert service animal.
