Do NOT waste your time!!! Scheduled a time to meet with Kevin. He didn't show up! I subsequently called him a half hour after our scheduled time. He said that he was stuck at a job and would be over in an hour. A call would have been nice KEVIN. Then I waited around for another hour and a half and he NEVER showed up. I called him several times with no answer!!! Earlier reviewers had the same experience. Kevin sucks! read more

I met Kevin at a networking event and I needed some drywall and flooring Kevin came out to take a look at the project. He was very nice and professional. We scheduled a date and time, I take the day off and buy all the materials and get the room ready for him the night before. The day comes and its 9am I think he might be running a little late at 930 I call him to make sure he is still coming. He answers the phone and doesn't remember me at all. He checks his book and he says oh I will be there in a couple of hours and never shows up. I am pretty upset since I took a whole day off and did a lot of prep work the night before including going to home depot and renting a truck to get the supplies. I would not recommend Kevin he is unreliable, and didn't even remember me after being at my house for 2 hours looking at everything. I am really upset and would never recommend him to anyone. He cancelled our appointment and after I left him messages he never bothered to contact me to reschedule. Just another unreliable and unresponsive contractor. Kevin Connelly was scheduled to come to my house on June 20, 2017. The day before he called and said he needed to reschedule as he was still working on a bathroom job. The new date was June 30, 2017, @ 9:00 am. He was a "NO SHOW" on the 30th. I did call @ noon on the 30th and left a message as I thought he might need to reschedule again! Zero stars. Never showed, called, or bothered to respond to my call and text message. Received an automated text message claiming he was in a meeting. Unacceptable and it looks like I'm not the only one to experience this. Glad I left work early only to be completely blown off with no explanation or apology. read more

I found Acton Handyman through a Living Social deal and was impressed by his website. He was exactly what I was looking for and so I bought a voucher. I cannot speak to his work. We never made it that far. I called to set up a time to meet to go over my spring projects. I took the time out of work to do this and he was a no show. When I called to ask if he was coming, he told me he was finishing up a job and wouldn't be making it that day. We then set up another time of his choosing and once again he never showed up (nor did he call). This time when I called to see what was up my call was sent to voice mail and I never heard anything back. I certainly did not experience the same or any responsiveness mentioned in the review that first attracted me to him. read more

Kevin started in the morning and worked until early evening on my To Do list. He worked efficiently and carefully, and I was really happy at all the work done and the quality of the work. He covered a great deal of varied items, such as replacing rotting deck flooring, replacing the rollers and installing door guards for sliding closet doors, replaced a bathroom light, removed a wall mirror, installed a magnifying mirror, and other misc. tasks. I happened to mention that my outside grill wasn't working properly, and he very kindly showed me what the problem was and how to clean the grill so it works better. He's really pleasant and easy going, and it was a pleasure to work with him. His rates are more than reasonable, and the quality of the work is top notch! I've already booked him to come back to do a couple more items! Highly recommend! read more
