I was travelling and needed to send out a couple of checks... The only problem was that I did not bring a checkbook, envelopes or stamps. The lovely, incredible Dina took care of us. I explained what I needed and in just minutes she created the two checks that we needed and even put them in envelopes, all with a smile on her face. When she saw that it was going to Kiwanisk she proceeded to tell me the story of how one of our Kiwanis clubs helped her family May not seem like a big deal but her ability to meet, greet and speak with customers was wonderful. I let the bank manager know our wonderful experience here and just how impressed we were with her branch. It was a short walk to he post office were we finished our task. Both times they rejected the payment and advised my bank that no such account exists. She spoke to me as if I am a senile old lady. I will be 70 right before Christmas but I am not senile. I had used a few other branches before Clifton Park and always had a pleasant experience. The Lead Teller, Valerie, was always kind and helpful. After the way I was treated I closed my account. I will take my business elsewhere. Saratoga National Bank has the worse website to try and use. It is not user friendly even from…read moresomeone that has computer skills. They charge you $3 per month for paper statement unless you go into the site and turn it off. Nowhere in the site does it tell you to turn off paper statements. There's no check box, drop down menu, or link to select. They can't even help you in their branches. Finally, after 4 months of $3 taken out of my account per month you have to go into a .pdf file, scroll all the way down, no boxes to check, then close out. I actually did this a couple of times, and I still had the $3 taken out because it still had me signed up for paper statements. Their software if flawed, so hard to use. I wonder how many other people they have charge $3 because of their website not being user friendly. They could make this very easy to sign up for paperless statement, but they chose not to. I wonder what else this bank is doing to their customer to suck money out of their accounts. Stay away from this bank.

Due to medical conditions, I have to rely on public transportation and cannot drive. I had an account with Key Bank that went defunct when I lost my job, so in desperation I called 1-800-KEY2YOU and they gave me the number for the Glenville branch and when I called, I got a Service Representative immediately - no hold! I talked with L. James Greenaway, who instructed me to walk to the lobby door, where somebody would let me in. Once I was inside, he seated me immediately, and set about restoring my account. After fully verifying my identity, he instructed one of the Tellers on duty to deposit my stimulus check as cash so it was immediately available. I found all of Key Bank, including the Local Branch Staff, the Phone Representative, and especially the Banking Officer that day, L. James Greenaway, to be extremely courteous and helpful. Kudos!

After more than 35 years as a KeyBank customer, I needed assistance while serving as executor of my…read morebrother's estate. Not only did KeyBank fail to help, they actively hindered the process. They arbitrarily closed an estate account -- belonging to a deceased individual -- after six months of inactivity, without any notification or authorization. When I spoke with the Malta branch manager, she deflected responsibility, blamed me, and was openly dishonest about the situation. I left that branch stunned. I then went to the Wilton branch, hoping for professionalism, and was met with even worse treatment and an attitude that was completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend KeyBank for anything. Their handling of estate matters, their lack of communication, and their disrespect toward long‑standing customers is appalling.
