Adk trust told me they wouldn't lend to me because I lived in a trailer park. Sorry I leave below my means? I felt very looked down upon and chose to bank elsewhere. That loan was since paid off. I was travelling and needed to send out a couple of checks... The only problem was that I did not bring a checkbook, envelopes or stamps. The lovely, incredible Dina took care of us. I explained what I needed and in just minutes she created the two checks that we needed and even put them in envelopes, all with a smile on her face. When she saw that it was going to Kiwanisk she proceeded to tell me the story of how one of our Kiwanis clubs helped her family May not seem like a big deal but her ability to meet, greet and speak with customers was wonderful. I let the bank manager know our wonderful experience here and just how impressed we were with her branch. It was a short walk to he post office were we finished our task. She spoke to me as if I am a senile old lady. I will be 70 right before Christmas but I am not senile. I had used a few other branches before Clifton Park and always had a pleasant experience. The Lead Teller, Valerie, was always kind and helpful. After the way I was treated I closed my account. I will take my business elsewhere. If anyone is a senior citizen, or has a senior citizen in their family, stay away.

Twice I have paid a loan down to zero using monthly electronic payments through my bank, as I assume most people do in the 21st century. Both times they rejected the payment and advised my bank that no such account exists. Although nothing in any law or the loan documents authorized such idiocy, they explained that their "system can't handle it" because I didn't mail a paper check or make the final payment in person. Take my advice and take your business elsewhere.
