In general, all ages are welcome until 8pm. Beer, cider, non-alcoholic drinks are available and a few other goodies. Including 2 groovy bathrooms on site that are of course covered with stickers. Now, in the peak summer season, I expect to fully utilize my membership. However, it is very disappointing that we can't reserve ANY weekend evening boat at ANY Lake or Seattle dock THREE weeks out. If you can't boat in the summer at the weekend, there is little point in this $$$ membership. When you get a boat, the service is very good, and the team at the docks does a nice job of helping out. The boats themselves vary in quality--newer boats are awesome, but the 2022 boats are showing their age. FBC - increase your capacity or slow down your membership growth!

Jonathan went above and beyond to help us out and is very experienced. He even has some decor you can use. The venue was beautiful and everyone loved it. Such a fun city venue. We decorated with a lot of warm lights to add to the soft glow it already has. The little room attached we used for a beer garden, which everyone loved. Get married here!!! Jonathan is very flexible and helped us plan our perfect wedding in 3 months. Literally the day before I decided to do a photo booth and he actually made photo booth props on such short notice. He really knew what I wanted and helped make it even better. It would have been a huge mess without him. THANK YOU!

Get the SLU Discount Card which will get you discounts, buy one/get one or other perks from participating companies in the neighborhood. You can simply ask the business or look up specials on the discovery center's website. I contacted them and requested 500 of these cards which they shipped to me at no cost. I used them to pass out to all of my staff who work in SLU. Great people work here who are happy to answer any questions that you may have. SLU is known for horrid parking and there isn't any at this location. There are paid lots a couple blocks away.

One of the most important things for us was finding a venue "that had a space for everyone" and that's EXACTLY what the Foundry provides. You wanna dance? It's an AWESOME dance floor. Need a breather? Check out the courtyard or the rooftop. Want to be involved but just watch? There are various side-rooms and balconies to check out the action. Of course, another huge pro is that catering is provided in-house, so it made that part of the process so much easier. We also used their list of recommended vendors, all of whom are familiar with the space, and it made set-up on the day of the event an absolute breeze. We do need to respectfully acknowledge that communication with the venue was... a little suspect at times. They experienced a lot of turnover over the past year (as well as some pricing changes), and while we were ultimately very happy with our experience, we hope they can get back to some consistency so that all couples and events get a smooth experience! (A special shoutout to Brittany who stepped in for our last month and really brought things home for us, thanks friend!!) We rented the entire space and had our ceremony / reception upstairs with a cocktail hour downstairs (along with laser tag during the reception) for a wedding of about 200 guests. The event was seamless. We worked with Heli and she is a true professional and absolute delight. She was responsive throughout our planning process and helped us immensely in making our dream wedding a reality. We'd highly recommend, without hesitation, Block 41 to anyone considering! Had a candlelight concert here. Everything was great. I think it was organized by FEVER. I saw…read morecandlelight concert promoted in other states and it was more fancy with dining option (like in Florida on their instagram page) but since ticket was $35 I thought it wouldn't be anything big. Also there wasn't enough candles as it was in other states. The chair we sat was very stiff and it hurt to sit for 1 hour or maybe I am too skinny lol I guess all this imperfections is Fevers fault because Block 41 its just an event space. Good thing that we coud change seat and come closer because a lot of seats were empty. Overall was good to be out. Overall its a good event space with bathrooms and 2nd floor. We had to sit in the masks and it was hot even tho it was evening. I hope next time it will be optional to wear mask or not.
