Our cabin's…read moreAC wasn't working from the moment we checked in on Thursday, and despite multiple messages and visits from staff, it was never fixed during our 3-night stay. The staff on the text line (especially Daniela and Kaylee) were polite and tried to help, but the issue was beyond their control. We were repeatedly told a technician was coming, offered temporary cabins for the night, and given portable AC units that barely cooled one side of the cabin. By the second night we had three adults and a toddler staying in a hot, uncomfortable cabin. Even after constant communication, the AC unit was never replaced, and the portable solutions leaked and couldn't keep up. We spent much of the trip waiting for answers instead of relaxing. When I called management after checking out, I was told only Rachel could authorize a refund, but she was on vacation. When I finally spoke with her, she was dismissive and offered only 50% back or a partial credit, saying she saw camera footage of us "using the amenities" as proof we still enjoyed our stay -- which was offensive after how miserable the cabin conditions were. I want to make clear that the on-site staff and text support team were kind and empathetic, but management's handling of the situation was unacceptable. Our vacation was consumed by a broken AC, unresolved maintenance issues, and poor follow-up. I won't be returning, and I strongly suggest future guests think twice before booking. If things go wrong, you might not get proper help -- only excuses. Also just to note a lot of the cabins are lacking in condition, but for the winter price it's bearable. Either way after this experience there's better places to vacation at.

We stayed in two of the large "tents" and one of the smaller cabins. It has a wonderful rustic flair to make you really feel like you've gotten out of the big city, but still comfortable enough with the temperature controlled setting and the wonderful mattresses to make sure you're well rested. They have a variety of things in a large plot of land, including a river you can swim in, various trails to take your golf carts around so you can see a variety of wildlife, including deer and armadillos, a very nice pool and hot tub with a full bar right next to it, and other small things, including a cornhole set and a Pickleball court. What I think blew me away, though was the incredible hospitality of those who worked there, they were genuine interested in making sure that we were as comfortable and happy as possible, and the very delicious breakfast that they made for the house, the pond request. Whether you're with the family, having a romantic getaway, or just simply wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Hill country, I cannot recommend this location enough.

HORRIBLE customer service Cabins stink BAD…read moreRead the fine print to discover that bathrooms and showers are outside in a porta-john setting When i called within 5mins of entering the cabin and grounds to express my dissatisfaction, I was told to call back in the morning. We never even stayed there...we left because of the smell. Never heard back after I called in the morning and just now received (4 days later) an email saying "the cabin doesn't have a smell and you should read the entire description of the cabins." You'd have to read and read to find it amd I'd think not having a shower and toilet in your cabin is pretty big topic to inform your clients vice disenguuosly buying in the description. Shame on you for such a horrible experience and taking my $.

This was, without question, the worst customer service I have ever experienced…read more The property did not match what was advertised, and when we reached out for assistance, we were met with a dismissive attitude and no willingness to offer any reasonable accommodation or solution. The pull-out sofa was broken, and there were no sheets or bedding provided for it, leaving part of our group without a proper place to sleep. These are basic accommodations that should have been available. To make matters worse, the first thing you see upon entering the property is a notice stating that they will dispute all charge disputes. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, it immediately creates the impression that they expect problems and are prepared to fight their customers rather than resolve legitimate concerns. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. There are plenty of properties that value their guests and stand behind what they advertise. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.

As recent Winter Texans, we are SO happy that we discovered Canopy RV Resort! The place is magical…read morein so many ways and our entire stay was more than delightful. The location is perfect with its close proximity to New Braunfels, yet still retaining that country feel and quietness - so relaxing. There are many things to do and see in the area as it is within easy driving distance to San Antonio, Austin, and many of the attractions that this area has to offer. While the resort is fairly new, it has many mature trees in some sections that make it feel more established and fresh at the same time. Everything is kept up and maintained to a very high standard. We're not sure that you could find cleaner facilities than what this resort offers. We really enjoyed the amenities that were available for use during our stay. They have large gas grills on the patio next to the pool that were available for use. We were also able to use the oven in the grand room, which came in handy more than once. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the firepit area as it provided us an area to gather and have social conversations on a regular basis. And the activities calendar kept us busy and engaged - loved it! But the BEST thing about Canopy is the amazing staff and everything that they do to create a sense of community at this resort. Without them and their efforts, this place would be a really nice facility without any soul. But Devyn and her staff are a large part of the secret sauce that makes Canopy so much more special. We quickly felt like we were a part of larger family or community - a sense of belonging that is hard to describe and yet so wonderful to experience. Before we left this year, we made plans to return next year and for the foreseeable future. We are proud to call Canopy our winter home and would gladly recommend it to anyone else.

They keep everything running perfectly and are always smiling, always willing to help. You can tell they truly care about this park and the people in it. The cleanliness is second to none. This park is immaculate - the grounds, the roads, the restrooms, laundry, everything is always spotless. It's obvious how much pride they take in keeping it beautiful. The amenities are fantastic for everyone. Whether you're a family with kids or a couple looking for a peaceful getaway, there is something for you. So many great amenities, beautifully maintained, and perfect for making memories. We have stayed at RV parks all over, and nothing compares to this one. It feels like home, like family. I thought a long time about writing a review for this place as it would have to be a one star…read morereview. Today at a Yelp event one of the guys said I should write one for sure after just mentioning a little of what I experienced. So this will be a warning for everyone that goes there. I went there on multiple occasions and talked with the owner and the general manager several times. And the owner is a very difficult person that can explode on you for very little things. He did so ones on me in person and he also send me a very disturbing email that was very offensive and insulting. If you read some of the reviews on Facebook and Google you will see how he is. He doesn't believe in many laws so the property has open holes and unsecured drops all over the place, this includes a mine shaft if you want to call it that way that goes I would imagine 50 to 100 feet deep into the ground and is unsecured. He invites people to take mud baths in there. Next is the GM, he also only follows the laws he likes to apply, so I personally know that he flew his drone illegally next to an airport in a manner that is quite questionable. The indention of the owner is quite nice, he takes old materials and build new things out of it, but he doesn't follow any laws and is very rude to everyone. His property is a mine field of dangerous spots that are just waiting to injure visitors that want to see the houses. I don't give one star ratings very often but after what I had to endured and the fact that I am still waiting for a payment from them, I finally had to write this review.
