Local sourcing means many of the ingredients are from Cornwall. They also clearly pride themselves on the provenance of their coffee (though we didn't sample it.) Service was extremely friendly and efficient, though prices reflect the quality and location: three tapas each, plus pudding and wine and a tip, came to £30 a head.

The decor from the first step (toilets are upstairs part from the disabled one), is really shoddy, grimy and not good. The grease on the steps you can feel underfoot, the pint has scuffs and handprints all over, chipped and dirty. They have two single toilets which both male and females can use. To that end, the toilet seat was always up and there were pee stains on the seat, so I ended up hovering over! There has been precious units in the bathroom that have drilled holes and different coloured paint. Such a shame as the first step up just lets the place down.
