My mum is also allergic to crustaceans but there were other options for her to eat, such as chicken breasts, steak and cod. The service was prompt but it didn't feel rushed and the waitresses were all lovely and knew the food well. The food was absolutely fantastic! Luckily, Rick Stein has opened a place in Falmouth so it was easy to go and try. I ordered crab salad as a starter and the other half ordered salt and pepper prawns. We both ordered cod and chips. He raved about his the flavor of his prawns, and my crab was incredibly tasty. Then came the fish and chips. For something deep fried in beef drippings the batter was light and crisp. The fish was incredibly tasty, and the homemade tartare sauce was so amazing we had to order some extra! The wine list was a bit lacking, but we found a nice Petit Chablis to have with our fish.
