Once it got busy, the bartenders were really struggling. It seemed like most of them were new because they kept asking one of the bartenders questions. One of them didn't even know where to find the drink I ordered (it was on the menu, and in the fridge in a can). Once all of the employees are as seasoned as the one they were all asking questions to, I think things will run much more smoothly. It also turned into a big party atmosphere which was fine with us, but many of the tables that were relaxing when we arrived were gone shortly after the music started. Wednesday March 20, 2024 was Bachata, Wednesday March 27, 2024 will be Salsa Sometimes Luis will mix it up but it's always posted on his capitol social Facebook page There are three dance floors to choose from. Near the bar, in front of the DJ booth which has a great location, and a little behind the DJ booth. The bar floor is typically sticky & often has tiny pieces of glass that drag on the shoe so don't wear your favorite shoes. There tile and wooden floors usually aren't sticky and usually do not have glass on them but anything can happen. The front door men are great. The bartenders are great. The ladies room has been in good shape each time I've gone. We appreciate them greatly for helping Capitol Social host their weekly dance lessons.

I voiced my concerns to a female employee (Hispanic with frizzy hair) and asked to speak with the manager and was met with a laugh. The security( i wish i knew their names) was very rude and he started yelling at me like if i had done something wrong. Then this past Saturday they kicked out two of my friends for different reasons one because by accident he drop a chair and the SECURITIES AGAIN approached him very aggressively. ANYWAYS, I called the police again to reported this case, this can not be happening, people go there because here in Madison there is no another latino place not exactly BECAUSE Club voodoo IS THE BEST PLACE. We went to have some drinks but they refused to let me in saying my ID didn't look like me, they took my ID and refused to give it back. I called the next day and they still refused to return it. Two weeks later I decided to try again, Before I went we called law enforcement to find out the best way to go about getting my ID back, the police officer called The Reef to see if they had it, they did. I went to get it and the manager had an aditude and was trying to justify (contradicting herself while doing so) taking and keeping my ID instead of just giving it back. Even after we told her if an ID isn't returned with in 48 hours to the owner or law enforcement it's considered stealing, still with an aditude she finally went back and got it. Seriously didn't need to hear all her rambling. Just wanted my ID back.
