Tried Wiseguys in Ogden for the first time last night and it was excellent, laugh out load fun!…read more We've been to the salt lake locations many times and even Orem, but missed out on Ogden and not sure why. We were feeling comedy and the other locations were sold out. So Ogden it was. It's located on historic 25th Street, lots of good restaurants within short walking distance. Even a country music concert at the park across the street. Lots of foot traffic along 25th Street, it was a fun atmosphere. Next time we'll go early and hit up a restaurant before the show. Even though it's located right on 25th Street you enter from the alley way on the east side. Prices were good, comics were fantastic, food was just okay, but not what we came for. Small intimate setting, maybe holding 100 to 200 people max, no bad seats in the house. Seating is first come first served. We saw Alex Velluto and he was great. Even the opening acts, JD, Spence and one other were good. Not a cuss word spoken all night and very clean shows. The worst comment was from the audience. Great, fun, happy night out with the wife.

Been to Bear Lake twice this summer and twice to the Pickleville Playhouse…read more Forgot to take pics of the menu but there's drinks, popcorn, box candy, pickles, and cookies that range from about $3-5 a piece. Plan on two hours for each show. Bathrooms are outside the theater but spacious and clean. I saw Dangerville on my first visit and then Newsies on my second visit. Dangerville is locally written with some improv and inside jokes about Utah, they have a pianist accompanying whole show. Newsies is Disney, very beloved by musical theater lovers; this was the best live performance of Newsies I've seen to date. All cast members are exceptionally talented with their singing, dancing, and acting, so any show at Pickleville is worth going to. Most cast members come from outside of Utah and are performing arts majors or professional performers.

Honestly, bought tickets with low expectations. But when we pulled up to the building, I could tell there was a lot of work and care put into this place. We ended up buying tickets across two entire rows. In retrospect, we should have bought seats behind each other, on one side of the theater (kind of like balcony wings on each side of the entry ramp). The play itself was really great. The musical numbers, dancing, jokes. Well done. When some of the actors accidentally broke character bc they were laughing at each other, it made me think that this place should offer stand-up comedy shows at night! It's a beautiful venue. We bought tickets for dinner and the show. The food was great. A storm rolled in during the show, so it was a bit chilly sitting outside to eat. But doable. Our first trip to Bear Lake was a hit! Will definitely come back for another show if we come for another visit.

Walked out of yet another production today (within the first 15 min) because of profanity,…read morelewdness, and inappropriate content for a general audience. Wasn't willing to wait and see if it would worsen to the level of another recent performance that was utterly shocking in its crudeness. While Hale Center Theater and Tuacahn continue to produce/present appropriate content for all ages in Utah, Eccles has lowered their bar over the years, seemingly under the guise of Art. What I find most frustrating is their unwillingness to warn the audience in advance or acknowledge the patrons who exit these productions (often in droves).

Their exceeding high standards for casting, the high degree of performance excellence, the professional quality of their sets, costumes, and venues, all at very low prices makes them, in my opinion, the #1 arts and entertainment venue in the entire region. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the joy and satisfaction we received from Four Seasons Theatre Company's recent production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Emma Duffin (Ariel) and Dakota Moses (Prince Eric) were a dynamic duo with voices to match any Broadway performer -- stellar!! And Kyle Pyfer stole the show as Sebastian, infusing a life into the production that couldn't be denied (applause and whistles after his rendition of Under the Sea lasted nearly 3 solid minutes) -- simply awesome!! We have decided we will attend all four performances by Four Seasons Theatre Company every year. Truly worth our time!!
