What a great company. First, they promptly return calls. They show up when they say they will- and even call ahead to alert and confirm. Very polite and professional. Their quote was extremely reasonable. They came out quickly and ground the stumps in our yard. We had one stump which needed to be ground deep so we could replant - they did a great job grinding deep enough for us. They raked up afterwards, leaving all the work areas very neat. Robert did a great job removing storm damaged trees and trimming overhanging tree limbs. One tree was very large and he was reasonably priced for amount of work completed. We looked to "The Arbory Tree Service" again as one of our tree companies for a quote on cutting some trees down as well as some trimming. John, one of the foreman who works for Jon, was ready to provide us an extremely reasonable quote and lower than the competitors. He let us know approximately when they would start and how long it would take. They called the day before to keep us updated. They started early and stayed until it was completed. They did an amazing job!! We had just had some landscaping done in our front yard which surrounded an old oak that had lost a huge limb. We needed the tree taken down as it was hollow. Tre, (who was the foreman for our job) and his crew did an amazing job as well as we're meticulous about the new landscaped area. We were just in awe of how Tre's team could drop huge limbs from a tree without injury to the surrounding lawn. Our neighbors even commented on how clean the lawn looked! They took 6 pine trees down for us and ground them down to a point that unless you knew there were trees there, you would not know anything was removed. Also, we had a very small magnolia tree next to one of the pines and they expertly were able to keep it. We also had a beach gum tree nestled next to a cedar. Hoping we could keep the cedar and cut and grind out the beach gum, Jon (the owner) was able to do that And also grind the stump nicely down. I just had a LOT of tree work done with The Arbory Tree Service. Jon Crutchfield and his crew did an AMAZING job. I don't usually do reviews but the job done was OUTSTANDING. I was impressed with this company throughout the entire process. The short version: A+++, Highly recommended, Great communication, Awesome job done quickly, Fair price. The Long version: Estimate: Mr. Crutchfield came out on time to give me an estimate and even called before coming to let me know he was on the way. He gave a written estimate clearly showing what work was to be done and even provided a copy of the business insurance. Everything on my estimate was clearly documented and fairly priced. I had 5 companies come out for estimates. Most did not give a written estimate and the price for some other companies was very high. Price The price was very fair for the work I had done. Out of all of the estimates I had, The Arbory Tree Service was one of the most reasonable quotes. The deciding factor to go with The Arbory Tree Service was fair pricing, professional, written estimate, no hesitation with the work that needed done, and they offered stump grinding service. The only slightly lower estimate I got did not include stump grinding. The Work I had 14 very tall trees removed from around my house; pines and sweetgum trees. Several of the trees were very close to the house, between 3-5 feet away. My neighbor's house is close to mine so there was not a lot of wiggle room to get the trees down safely. The crew did a superb job getting all of the trees down with ZERO Damage !!! I watched the crew cutting and climbing the trees. It was fascinating how perfectly they were able to direct the trees down. The crew cleaned up everything and my yard looks beautiful. Time The job was completed in 2 days including the stump grinding. I think 2 days is very fast for the amount of trees I had taken down. Communication I was always able to get in contact with The Arbory Tree Service. When calling the office I spoke with Julie. Julie was polite, professional, and always very helpful with answering any questions I had. I was also able to get in contact with Mr. Crutchfield via his mobile number after hiring them for the job.
