I was a victim of a serious violent crime, in coma, nursing home lost everything because it took me almost a year to recover. I had no family so i had nothing when i was on my road to recovery. I went on ssi and moved from Princeton to 10 minutes from Swedesboro. Thanks to Kings things I was able to decorate my studio cottage, buy nice , quality clothes and get food. The people who are employed there are true Christians, loving, always willing to listen, patient and so so helpful. May God always bless them and this store. Please if anyone has anything to donate please do so here. I will not comment on other thrift stores but to help the poor or unfortunate, the prices, employees and true meaning of their buines is no where comparable to KINGS tHINGS I always tell people TO DONATE anything they may have here.Believe it or not Idonate things that i bought or were bought for me and donate. I understand all the proceeds go to benefit the community, but I believe you would make more money with lower prices. These are donated items just sitting there. I stumbled upon this gem when I visited the Post Office which is right next store…read more Walking in it's like you're immediately transported back to places that are both familiar and unfamiliar but you feel welcomed and cozy. The store is divided into rooms which I can only imagine is because it used to be an actual house and they kept the layout. Every room tells a different story and they've done a nice job of trying to group certain items and themes together in each room. The music room and jewelry room were my favorites as I was able to pick up great vinyl records and unbelievable pieces of unique jewelry for both gifts and my personal wear. Oh and the owner Linda is an absolute GEM! She's so warm, inviting, informative, funny and just all around a great person who made the shopping treasure hunt that much more fun. I will definitely be back as there was a fancy wool hat I wanted to try on and I'll also visit their other locations that Linda mentioned as well.

This is a newish thrift shop on the main street in palmyra. I came in sometime around the first…read moreweek or two of opening. I found some good sweaters/ long sleeves and they had some cute knick knacks as well. Unfortunately, I will say, I was put off quite a bit while I was checking out. The owner was checking us (me and my sister) out and when it came to pay, I asked if she took apple pay. she reassured me she did, and so I began doing the face id to tap the card reader thing. However, she then asked if I had cash, which I did not, and then she offered to do apple cash. I did not want to pay apple cash, and so I said I don't have that set up and would like to continue with the apple pay through the card reader. she proceeded to kinda push me on this apple cash, saying she will show me how to set it up and it should already be a thing if I have my card through my phone and that I just need her number to text the payment. honestly, i'm over simplifying how pushy it was. she even walked around from behind counter to try and direct me on my phone as to how to do it. I had to pretty firmly state that I was only going to pay through card and the card reader. I'm in no way an expert on business policies, taxes, or anything of the sort, but to my knowledge apple cash is strictly for peer to peer use, not for commercial payments. It was generally just an odd interaction that forced me to be semi confrontational when I just wanted to pay and leave.
