I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this company. Hiring them was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. From the very beginning, they gave me a false sense of security. They were quick to respond when they wanted my payment, but the moment I finished paying them, the communication completely stopped. Getting a DUI is terrifying, and I hired them because I thought they would fight for me, guide me, and ease some of that fear. Instead, they made me feel completely abandoned and guilty from the start. I hardly ever spoke to the actual attorney, Daniel King. He was nearly impossible to reach. Instead, I was stuck dealing with his paralegal, Chris Kim, who was unhelpful, dismissive, and left me feeling like my case didn't matter at all. Every time I needed answers, I was either ignored or given delayed, half-hearted responses. The lack of care, effort, and basic professionalism was shocking. I felt like just another paycheck to them, not a person going through one of the hardest situations of my life. This Attorneys group was one of the worst I've ever dealt with. It doesnt seem like the employees there works. it seems like they send emails or calls JUST TO call. There was like 10 people handling my files. Unbelievable and everyone I try to reach someone, it takes DAYS to respond or get to someone. they kept asking for the same documents over and over. Which i sent and telling myself, just be patience. maybe these people just having bad days. I sent everytime they request. At one point when I couldn't take it no more, i reach out to the Manager, well, Thank god he FINALLY listens to me AT THE END, but in the beginning of the call, he DID NOT listen to what i was saying. I only could say a COUPLE of words, he sit in my mouth and assumed I was complaining about something so out of character. it was so unprofessional. I was like if this guy wont help me, I'm in deep crap! He wont let me speak, i had to let him LET IT ALL out then finally he let me talk. MIND YOU, I sitting very angry but was very patience and stayed quiet. finally he let me talk. as calmly as i could. he finally understood why I was calling. he then helped me thru out the calls. HE reassured me everything was going to be ok. he apologized but that was so unprofessional for him to not let a customer talk. at the end of my files when it finally closed. still i was not happy. documents I asked MANY times that it was incorrect was not corrected. there were so many mistakes. This review is for Chris Kim. I called on him back in October 2022 when my tenant decided to stop paying rent. (Non COVID related) Chris helped me get the eviction process started. And this was during a time where there was the Covid moratorium in LA County. Chris explained there was very little we can do to legally get my tenant out since evictions in LA were paused. But he said he will do his best to negotiate with the tenant, and to come to a resolution and try and get him to move out before we actually file for eviction in February 2023. The process was a nailbiter for sure. But Chris was diligent in his follow ups and was very responsive. He called me at least once a week with an update on my case.
