They are located inside the historic Radiator building with many other businesses. The closest door to Good Space is coloured a bright orange. Usually the yoga studio will also have their sandwich board outside as well. You do have to navigate a set of 6 steps before entering the studio. They do offer a variety of classes primarily either "Move" classes or "Ease" classes. The "Move" classes are designed to be strengthening and vigorous. The "Ease" classes are restorative (think yoga, quiet meditation, etc.). Yoga mats and all props for the classes are included. Best to bring your own water bottle to refill your bottle with a water station they have. They also do not have any towels but if you'd like to bring one just in case you can as well. I've never tried Good Space before but decided to sign up for their intro package (3 classes for $50 + tax) with no expiry date on the classes. I stopped by on Wed around lunch. Upon entering the studio I was greeted by staff, who was also the instructor of the class I would be taking. Signing up for classes is fairly easy which can be done online. They use the Mindbody booking system so you'll need to create an account if you don't have one with them. The class I signed up for was a "Move" Vinayasa flow class. I told the instructor it was my first time at the studio and she showed me a brief tour of the place pointing out the entrance area where I should put my shoes + belongings as well as the washrooms, changerooms, and yoga practice room. The aesthetic of studio is light and airy with plants throughout. The instructor already had laid out the mats in the studio and I picked a spot to my liking. Props are at the back of the room. The instructor, Sam, took us through a Vinyasa flow, which was nice as some poses provided some strengthening aspects. I don't particularly do yoga often but I was able to follow her instructions. Moreover, I took a spot in the 2nd row so I could also look at others if I was lost. Once class is over, you're expected to use a spray bottle and sponge to wipe down your mat and hang it back up on the wall. Overall, Good Space offers a welcoming space for all (beginners, intermediate, or advanced) to practice yoga. The instructor was friendly and attentive. I felt welcome and included in the class even though it was my first time there. Definitely will use up the rest of my intro pack classes and would be interested in exploring their other credit packs in the future!

Not only do they offer yoga classes, but they also do pilates, meditation, sound baths, deep breathing classes, special workshops and more! I took pilates this morning with Tash and we actually got to do a reformer type pilates workout using only a mat, blanket, pilates ball and weights and it was so good! I would definitely recommend this studio for anyone looking for a good space for fitness and community :)

Taking over the old space which housed Hoame (the meditation studio), Trove offers a luxurious retreat away from the busy city life as soon as you step into the newly renovated beautiful space. Trove offers a variety of practitioner led services (massage therapies, reiki, naturopathy, osteopathy, holistic nutrition, coaching, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy), solo journeys (salt cave, lymphatic compression, sauna/cold plunge, red light therapy), classes (meditation, sound baths, etc.), and IV and vitamin boosts. I decided to purchase an intro credit pack from Trove as soon as I heard they were opening. I decided to take a morning meditation class this week during their first week of opening. Upon entering the space, you feel a sense of calmness and luxury. IYou are greeted by staff who check you in and then show you the space and guide you to the lockers/washroom area. Each locker is equipped with a robe and slippers for you to wear (no outdoor shoes are allowed inside). The common seating area is free to enjoy before and after your classes/treatment as well where there is tea/water for you to enjoy. To my surprise, I was the only person in the morning meditation class. This was a nice bonus as it was pretty much like a private session with the instructor. The meditation room is complete with all the props you need for your practice. The 55 min meditation class flew by and I felt a sense of calmness, peace, and renewed energy after my practice. I decided to enjoy the space where I had some tea while sitting in the common area, looking at the fire centrepiece they had in the middle of the room. As I opened the door to leave Trove, I was hit with the busy sounds and sights of Toronto. This made me want to turn right back around to retreat back into the calmness and serenity of the space created at Trove. Overall, Trove is a beautiful space that provides a variety of services and products to improve your well-being. I definitely would like to try the sauna and cold plunge next time as well as book some salt caves sessions. The massage services also sound great. Will definitely be back for more!

It is located in a small plaza with a no-frills and bulk barn. Who wouldn't want to work out then get their sugar fix afterwards am I right?? The yoga studio very modern and the people working here are very nice. The people who work here are mostly volunteers who perform energy exchanges but it is an awesome way to meet the community. This location is the city centre location. Do not mix it up with the Mississauga location as they both will have different schedules. Parking: The parking is plaza style parking. Although it is limited, you shouldn't have a hard time finding a parking spot unless you're coming here during peak grocery shopping time. Studio: This studio offers many classes to choose from. The Yoga flow class is the one I took. This is a great balance between a power yoga and a yin yoga. It has plenty of movements to make sure you are working but and it is slow enough to give you a nice stretch. If you're a beginner, it would be difficult to master this class but as someone who is getting back into yoga, this was a good choice. The energy exchange as I mentioned above is a volunteer position where you trade ~4 hours a week of your time (1 shift usually) to get access to the gym. The work during your shift is usually assisting to clean the studio after a class has been completed or checking in people who are coming for classes.

Alysha's class was awesome! Really challenging, but everyone was able to work within their fitness level. I left really sweaty and feeling like I got an awesome workout. The studio is small but really nice and smells great. My only issue was that I had to pay $3 to "rent" a mat, which wasn't made clear when I made my ClassPass reservation. I think studios charging people to use their mats is such a money grab. But other than that, loved my experience here.

Each teacher has their specialization and style, but are all very welcoming and helpful. (And each teacher is often bringing new techniques and variety to their classes.) The studio has a mild social vibe, which I feel adds to the practice, the experience. For me it helps reinforce my consistency of yoga practice. The indoor space is a chance to see one of few remaining houses in this area with Toronto's 1930's (or so) architecture. The studio room is clean and has a bohemian good vibes. There is also a meditation/social room, deck and backyard space. Often there are health and wellness events hosted by guest practitioners, which teachers will tell you about if they know your interests. Yoga mats and blocks are available but must be sanitized after use.
