Almond pastry and latte in the courtyard
Sara F.

The Bakery is an amazing place to start your day! Lattes, breakfast burritos and pastries were enjoyed on a beautiful, quiet Sunday morning in the absolutely cozy courtyard. The outside space was filled with garden lights, lots of seating and clever coffee décor. The lattes were perfect, pastries were fresh and delicious! The staff was amazing and friendly and service was fast and personable. The cafe had a number of quaint gifts and local goods. Such a great place to visit for friends, family and visitors alike.

I SAW KIM!!! Anyways the food was great and the servers are great people. I go here every morning so i would be a hypocrite to say something bad about this place. The vibe is great and have a classic farm vibe. Love this place and people!

Bakery Breakfast (only avail Thur-Sun) -Biscuits, sausage patties, egg your way, topped with sausage gravy!

Cutest lil bakery in small town Iowa! We would be in the area around breakfast time and I found this place. I wish it was closer! Coffee, breakfast, lunch, bakery and ice cream! Grabbed a loaded breakfast burrito (not pictured) with salsa. This was not my breakfast of choice so I didn't try it but was informed it was reeeeaaallll good! I snuck couple bites of the pecan roll-- oh man. Sugary, sticky glaze with pecans on top of a dense but slightly soft sweet tasting baked dough. Can I just get a celebratory hand gesture for the Bakery Breakfast !?! Perfectly cooked to order egg on top of a heaping pile of flakey biscuits, not 1 but 2 thick sausage patties and creamy sausage gravy! This bad boi is enough for 2!!! My SO got a Peached Iced Tea to drink- I did taste that, perfectly peach flavor with a hint of tea! I chose the Moo Latte- white mocha with a chocolate spread mixed in, on ice. I think it was nutella or similar spread. The 2 chocolates paired well with each other, making it a slightly, not to chocolatey coffee drink. Seating available inside or on the patio to the side. Love the farming, rustic barn wood decor. The bakery case had monkey bread roll, cinnamon rolls, couple different cupcake flavor options, ect. We will have to return for their lunch sometime soon!

Panini's, Cobb salad, Caesar salad, cold brew, frappe, smoothie. Kids and adults liked everything.

I looked up donut places and this lil place popped up and I was excited cus the pics of the donuts…read morein the case is what I wanted, but when we got there is it was called "River to River Bakery and Pizza". So I guess no more Brick Street Bakery? Great location. No donut cases displaying donuts. We had to ask about the donuts and it was 8am. They had the "fancy" donuts, you know the ones that people get creative with cereals and stuff. No plain every day donuts. I got the apple fritter. It had cherries in it, I didn't know that. The 2 ladies that were there were super sweet. There is some seating inside and outside. And you can see the old architecture of the building inside and out which makes it fun. They are only open 6am-2pm. Will need to go back and try their pizza as I was not impressed with the donut.

We were adventuring on the nearby RRVT and needed a coffee break. This little bakery is just down…read morethe road, and has bike parking. We had to try the goodies.. so I got the maple frosted cake donut. I wasn't expecting much... I'm not a huge fan of cake donuts because every one I've had has left me dry-mouthed and searching for water... but not here! Brick Street's donuts were not dry at all! Moist and perfectly sweet! The coffee (we just have it black) was smooth and tasty. My husband enjoyed his gooey sticky-bun :)
