The hair dressers here really take the time to understand what you are trying to achieve with your hair and offer helpful suggestions on cutting styles and products that would be good for you too. There is even a loyalty program which is always a nice and useful touch. Elizabeth is the owner and a local, which to me is an added bonus. The salon is modern, clean and relaxing. Prices are what you expect from a good hairdresser and the girls are also great at doing styles/up-dos for parties.

I find the stylists really take the time to assess what colour and cut would suit you best, and I trust there advice. They also have chairs that massage your body, you recieve a head massage, they use products that smell so divine you want to consume them, and they then offer you quite a selection of tea, coffee and nibblies. it is a nice experience and the staff are all very welcoming!

So I came in with another colleague, she is there for a haircut and I am there for eyebrow threading. The shopfront is only about 1.5 metres wide so it's easy to walk past or undermine this salon, but once you walk in you will find a long narrow salon with a separate area at the back and beautician of the house Rimi does her magic upstairs. The hairdresser listened to my friend's request and did a good job cutting and thin layering her super thick hair. She was told the story that this salon's specialty is hair extension and they love doing colours. My eyebrow threading+tinting was a lovely experience and both of us walked away happy and with a $20 voucher each for next visit. Friendly staff, lovely service, satisfied clients. If I didn't have to cross the bridge to get here, this will be my local salon.

Based on Yelp reviews, I went to take a look at the salon. It was very busy on a Wed afternoon, which I took as a good sign and made an appointment for Friday. Atsuko did a fantastic job cutting and coloring my hair. Her attention to detail was impressive - she spotted mistakes in my previous haircut that even I hadn't noticed, and was very careful the the color didn't splatter or run onto my skin or clothing. I brought some photos of my ideal cut - she did a great job marrying the style to what my hair actually does. She even gave me some tips on how to blow dry it better when I am doing it myself. Plus, she managed to pull this all off in less than 2 hours! (And it didn't feel rushed). My hair looks amazing and I am so happy with it! And even though they seem to always be busy, they are somehow able to fit people in on short notice so don't be shy about calling them.

My hair is the source of many compliments, and has even been literally 'patted' by a few celebrities. Elio is an amazing cutter. Trained in the heyday of fringes, bobs, bottle blonde and pixie short crops, no matter which head he touches, the results are always A+. The salon is modern, but low-key and very reasonably priced. They use L'Oreal Colour, and stock a good range products for purchase from Label M, GHD and L'Oreal.
