A balloon store run by a shop owner or manager who seems proud of not providing anything except a few balloons and a banner or two. Went in there to find sellotape and he was quite disgusted by us. How unfortunate! read more

They sell fantastic flowers and do a delivery service. Their flowers are very contemporary and are very high quality. They do fantastic window displays which really show off their abilities. Since moving they have also been able to open a coffee shop within the flower shop. They sell many lunch items, I especially like their nachos. They also do sandwiches and paninis and yummy desserts too. There is a really nice atmosphere in there and all the staff are very happy and friendly. It is really fun sitting and eating lunch and watching the florists making up the most beautiful flower arrangements.

Clive himself was there for a chat, which was so engaging as it sounds like he's travelled the world with his camera. I like that he's had his stuff printed on so many different mediums too - it makes this so much more interesting (and less intimidating) than a traditional gallery space with only canvas on the walls. He has various sizes of pictures but also more fun things like printed umbrellas, or giant floor cushions that I was sorely coveting for my flat but managed to resist when I pictured myself trying to lug it home on the rail replacement buses the next day :P The pictures are on the pricey side as you might expect but he has some stunning landscapes to choose from in case you're looking for something to go on your wall, and most will be limited editions. We were there more for browsing which he seemed fine with too - so I'd def recommend a look in if you're in the area.

We also bought a very lovely 3ft snowman ormament for £15, I asked my other half how much he thought it would be and we guessed around £30, I was really pleased with it for £15. They sell a great selection of paper items such as cute cards and wrapping paper, note books etc as well as Christmas decorations and gift items. I will certainly be shopping there again and would recomend it as a lovely shop to pick up something different without it costing a fourtune.
