I'm giving Michael a 5 star rating only because Yelp won't let me give him 6. I've been working with Michael for several years now since we left LA and moved to Chicago in 2009. We kept our property in LA and during that time, Michael has been incredibly proactive in providing us detail on the LA market and expert advice on the right and wrong time to sell. His knowledge of the real estate market, integrity and patience is second to none in the industry. On Michael's advice, we put our townhouse on the market in mid-October. Within a week we had three offers well within our acceptable price range and a closed deal 10 days later. I was amazed at how smoothly the transaction progressed and the ease to which it was closed as we were 2,000 miles away. That is a testament not only to Michael, but his staff, particularly Taryn Booth and the service they provide. Michael was my realtor when I bought my first condo in 2012. He was also my realtor when I just purchased my first house. He has a great method to how he operates by making sure the clients understand the process before they even get into it. I felt very comfortable the very first time because he made sure I was educated and knew what to expect. When it came time to sell that condo, Michael helped me sell it in record time (1 day!) for more than the price I wanted. Thought I'd take the time to post a positive note to share how fantastic this man is! I am a first-time homeowner all because of Michael! I was referred to Michael by my co-worker only 2 months ago, and it was the best thing that happen to me. Closed escrow Aug 6! Prior to Michael Barasch, I had gone through 4 Realtor's, all who said they had experience and did a lot of talking on how long they have done real estate etc, they got me nothing. As a matter of fact, since they were slow on deals and lacked creativity, by the time my offers got in, properties had too many offers or were in escrow! I wasted so much time, almost 2 years!
