I scheduled an appointment for a first visit based on Yelp reviews. I was greeted immediately upon my arrival...very friendly. I sat inside waiting for my turn. The atmosphere is very cool, the place has a great vibe. The barbers are great at making people feel comfortable and relaxed. They take great pride in their work and are very good at their craft. Danny has been cutting my son's hair for a few years now. My son was always very nervous and uneasy about getting his hair cut prior to us finding Danny at The Barber. Danny is very understanding of my son's personality and certainly puts him at ease every time he's in the chair. Aside from that, he listens to what we want and makes sure that my son walks out of there with the exact style of cut he expected. I used to go to this place when I was a kid and had many fond memories. When I moved back into the area and saw that it was open but under a new name and manager, I figured I'd stop in to see how it was, and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this Barber shop to everybody. I have been going to Tony for 6 years and has always showed perfection on my haircut. Also, being a friend of Tony's I have been around him in the shop and out of the shop and he has never been rude toward anybody especially if it is a guest at his shop. I have gone to Dan a few times at The Barber in the past and when I was looking up the hours I found out they were doing a Cut A Thon for Team Alex. I was one of the 1st and Dan did his usual great job. I am glad they donated there time and Tony donated the shop. I will warn people this is a old fashion barbershop. I'm not a personal friend of Tonys but I am a customer and we are friendly. The guys in the shop do everything in their power to make you feel at home and welcomed. Its a great place with great barbers. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ive never had a bad or disappointing haircut from any of the guys in there. A true professional, I get a cut every 2 weeks or so, and they are always great. The atmosphere is for all ages. Sometimes there is a wait (call the shop to give him a heads up) but he has gotten me out of a few binds if I need to get in and out quick so it's always fair. read more
