So, I rolled in this morning for a shave and a haircut and the crew totally rocked it! Zach gave me a nice tight goatee trim, haircut, and then proceeded to give me the best hot-towel shave I have ever had! Zach used a mixture of multiple shave creams to work me over and by the time he was done with the straight razor, I had the smoothest skin and not a hair was left to be felt. I was really impressed by the professionalism by Stan and the whole crew and their use of high quality products. Even the lime aftershave that they finished my shave with left me feeling and smelling amazing for the rest of the day. It was totally worth the drive from Boise to come have such a great experience. It was my first visit to The Barber Shop and I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door. There were several people waiting ahead of me and I was greeted and invited to set down, that it would only be a few minutes. There were mostly men getting haircuts and some kids. The barbers were very professional and very friendly. I have always been very particular about who cuts my hair and I hated going to Great Clips all the time and getting a trainee, or some solon, and getting some old lady to cut it with a frown on her face wondering why I would come into her establishment. I was never able to get the same cut twice. But these guys and gals are professionals and they can do any style you want. I am a lady that is desperately trying to grow out my natural silver color. I had some old color that needed to go but already have short hair. I decided to buck the salon and see a barber for my short hair. I waited my turn (walk ins only) and found myself in Katelyn's chair. She did exactly what I wanted and was very kind. As a lady, I was met with smiles from the barbers' but still felt a bit weird as the only lady client in there. Loved the vibe, the decor, and the whole experience. Hands down the best barber shop! Aside from giving great cuts, they have amazing barbers who make you feel like family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is one of a kind with antiques, personalization at every corner, and bad ass decor. They also give you free beer, water, toys for your kiddos and play great music. Stan did My sons first haircut today and absolutely nailed it... and my 13mth old did not make it easy on him to say the least. Everyone was so patient with a difficult kid and I'm just so thankful. Great barbershop! Defiantly what I wanted in a barber. old school styling, straight razor shave on the back of the neck. Stan was very friendly and offered me a cold soda while I was getting my hair cut and made sure my cut was what I wanted and asked questions. He even uses an old vibrating shoulder massager when your all trimmed up which added a nice touch to the experience. I definitely recommend this place in Twin Falls. Look, you don't come here in a pinch to get a shitty haircut like Great Clips . This is a proper barbershop. You go in, have a beer, listen to your neighbors shoot the shit, and maybe in an hour or so you get your own hair cut. Stan runs an awesome shop. I took my husband and son in the weekend before Christmas (they were all dressed up like the movie The Christmas Story). Stan took care of my son's hair, while Zach gave my husband the "two bit." Both came out awesome, and my husband loved his hot shave and cut by Zach.
