I've been coming here since the month they opened 14 years ago. I've only had 2 people cut my hair since then and they both still work there. Being able to just sit down in the chair, not even having to say a word on my hair should be cut, and catch up on each other's lives is really one of life's simplest pleasures. Just left this barbershop, and Kris was the barber who did my hair and let me tell you she completely BUTCHERED my hair, she combed my hair down and just took a electric razor straight into it, no parting my hair or anything for the record my hair was pretty long so the hair in the top of my head mixed in with the hair in the side of my head, I even showed her a picture of what I wanted done explained exactly what I wanted and she didn't do anything I requested. We waited an hour and a half, then walked into our appointment just to be told we were too close to closing for the walk-in. They definitely could've let us know when we walked in 15 minutes before our "scheduled" time. I've been going to Tammy for years. She is the friggin best. She always takes extra good care of my man-do. She listens carefully to my instructions and takes the time to make my hair the best version of itself. People say that you get the cut you think that you deserve...and you deserve the best. This place used to be amazing, even during covid. I recently went to get mine and my sons hair cut which in the past was phenomenal. However the new staff cutting hair are not personable. They argued about how the terminology was between a fade etc. I had to go back and have them correct issues they missed being long hair on my neck.... fades should not have longer hair on the bottom. My sons hair was so uneven I had to take him to another barber and spend more money. When you charge what you do, your haircuts should be what you paid for. Not overpriced forced neglect. Asked for half an inch off and a 2 on the sides and back and basically just a simple clean up and the stylist was talking so much that she didn't even pay attention to what i was asking for. She cut everything way too short and now i basically have a buzz cut. I used to be able to tie my hair up but now i can barely get a grip on my hair so that should give you a good picture of how short she went. Twice I've been to this location- and they are busy! Very friendly staff though, and great atmosphere for not only the haircut, but any wait-time you might have. The Barbers are a chain, and so far the two that I have been to have almost identical set up- they have an interior design that is made to appeal to guys- an almost 'deluxe garage' feel- the floor is sealed concrete, the barbers work out of diamond plate toolboxes, and large flat panel TVs, present on almost every wall, broadcast varied sporting events- which is good, because more likely than not, you will have a wait due to these places' popularity. The barbers save enough info from each of your visits in a database to know basically what kind of 'do' you want, and they can see who last cut your hair, and any notes they made. I needed a new barber shop. I liked my previously preferred establishment, but they kept doing little things wrong that prevented me from enjoying my haircut. I was referred to The Barbers by a friend. It looked appealing from the outside so I decided to try it out. The interior didn't necessarily incorporate some sort of theme, like SprtsClips--it just had everything that I wanted. I liked the masculine appeal and I liked being greeted at the door. They offered me a beverage and quickly got me into a seat. Another thing I liked was that I didn't have to undergo some lengthy profile induction. I love haircuts... but I hate interviews. Thankfully, I didn't have any of that to worry about here. I had a problem area with my last haircut that the new barber and I quickly identified. I gave a small amount of direction and she was right on it. She fixed the problem and gave me the cut I wanted. Then she put this massage device on her hand and massaged my shoulders. I nearly fell out of the chair. She also put a small vacuum through my hair and scalp to make sure I wasn't getting clippings into my clothing. They didn't push any extra product on me--as I already said I had products that I prefer. No "pushy", very classy. No extraneous fluff. Next time, I'll spend more there. I liked this place a lot. I have been going here for a year or so. Always mixed results. The barbers use their time with you for their therapy sessions. Just constant complaining, not what I came for. So let's get to that. 2 times ago the lady was nice enough and I got to hear all about her drama. She faded my hair up way to high. No biggie, people make mistakes. So I go back again last week and get a new lady, got to hear about her drama about being broke before she told me her tale of a hundred dollar dinner the week before... anyways I ask her not to blend it so high. Was very descriptive. She understood. When she gets to actually blending it, she goes an inch higher then the last person and tells me she thinks it "will grow in". Like WTF you do something I specifically ask you not to and then tell me it's OK? It's not your hair lady Luckily I have this nice hat I have been wearing for the last week. 1 bad and 3 not great hair cuts in a row combined with not getting my therapist fee has me never going back here. read more

If you're into sports themes and a bunch of other stuff besides just getting a haircut, this place will probably appeal to you. Personally, the only thing I care about is receiving a quality haircut provided by friendly people, so that's what I'll base this review on. I've been to this particular location about 5 times now, and I must say that overall I'm very disappointed. The first two times I went I was serviced by Alena, and she was absolutely fantastic, to the point where I wanted to tip her for such a great experience. She is way too good for this place. However, the last three visits were terrible. I don't recall either employees names, but one was older and the other blonde. The older one messed up my haircut twice to the point where I just asked her to give me a buzz cut instead. Whereas the blonde woman gave me a somewhat mediocre haircut and very likely the worst customer service I've experienced in some time. No smile, no greeting, and she made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. Just a terrible attitude from start to finish. I wanted to like this place so bad, but with such a mixed bag of results, I just can't bring myself to recommend it to anyone. This place barely escapes being a one star in my opinion, and you can probably find some better options out there. read more
