My son has been going to Victoria since she opened Diamond Barbershop, and I only take him to Victoria since she has a better understanding of his hair type, and his curls. Called around and found this place that makes you forget you're in Merced inside. Very cool atmosphere. Vince was our barber and he was super nice and gentle with him. He took his time to explain about the anatomy of my son's hair and the different tools he was using on him, knowing that I wanted to learn to cut in the long run. At the end, he said no charge! What a nice guy...but of course I still insisted to tip. Welcoming place for men (and babies!) to hang, chat, and get cuts! They take their time with you and have passion for what they do.
