I finally had the chance to visit Barre3 in Grand Rapids (haven't been since they rebranded)! To celebrate eight years in their location, they offered free classes, and I couldn't resist taking part. I'm so glad I did! I signed up for two different sessions: the Signature Barre 45 and Barre 60, which indicated their durations. Both classes were in the morning, and I had an incredible workout! Although waking up early for a workout can be a challenge, the instructors at Barre3 were motivating and helped me push through the burn. Signing up for a class through their app was a breeze, and I appreciate the requirement to reserve a spot. This feature makes the experience straightforward and convenient, especially in the morning when you have one less thing to think about. Checking in was also quick; I simply provided my name, and the staff checked me in while reminding me of my designated spot. Additionally, there was a board outside the class listing all the necessary equipment, which I found helpful for preparing beforehand. The studio was clean, and even though both classes were full, I felt I had ample space to perform all the moves comfortably. I left feeling strong, rejuvenated, and mentally refreshed! Barre is one of my favorite workout styles, and I truly enjoyed my time at the Barre3 studio. read more

I've been a member of Barre Code Grand Rapids for 4 years. It has been a total game changer for me when it comes to fitness (and so much more - mental health and wellness, etc). The classes are challenging, engaging, dynamic and empowering. There are many different formats of classes - barre, boot camp, strength training, brawl, and some hybrid versions. I never get bored with my workout; the routines are always changing. The instructors are motivating, inclusive and encouraging. They also do a lot of fun multi-week challenges with prizes to keep things fresh and fun. The owner, Stacie, has built an incredible business focused on an empowering fitness community. I've been going to classes for the past couple weeks and have been loving them. It's a welcoming and supportive environment offering fun challenges to keep you motivated. They offer a mix of classes which is really nice. A good solid whole body workout each and every time. I love adding in the strength sessions to compliment the barre. Only rating it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is hard for me to hear what exactly the instructors are saying. I love the loud, upbeat music, it's just hard to hear over it. It's easy to figure it out though based on what the rest of the class is doing. ;) read more

This place is my home away from home. Not only do I leave feeling amazing after a workout, but the sense of community and sisterhood is overwhelming. I always leave the barre code with my cup filled. My favorite workout is brawl because it's high intensity but also so fun, I laugh the whole way through (hello extra ab workout).
