My companions had a seafood appetizer and as I didn't see anything left on the plates, know if was good. I had the haddock and chips as a main which was fantastic. Probably the best fish and chips I've had. My boyfriend had the hake and chips, which was a more local fish. He preferred its texture which was a little larger chunk to my haddock, and I was a fan of both and would have happily eaten either again. That is to say I'm also not a big seafood person, so if I'm able and wiling to eat an entire plate of fish you know it's great. My only complaint was that they didn't have their tree up quite yet. Awesome location on a sunny day! In times of Covid, it's important to be patient with businesses and while there was a bit of a wait for drink refills and ketchup, overall our service was great. The manager came out as we were walking out after our meal and apologized for the wait, which was unnecessary but really nice. Can't wait to return next year when we visit.
