I purchased a car battery here in 2021 with a 2 year warranty, my warranty was up next month & when my battery went out they replaced it no questions asked! I was super worried having to spend my last dollars on a new battery and thanks to their fantastic warranty I can have a seafood boil for dinner and not ramen. I spent all morning working on my car, cleaning out throttle bodies and all that manly stuff, but even when I showed up close to closing time, they made it so easy for me. I went to this place because I needed a battery. I trusted these people. They were very nice but ever since they put my battery in my car , I was having trouble with my car not starting. Went a few months like that. Went back to the place and they told me it was my terminals on the battery, wanted to charge me 20$ to clean them. After all this fuss I went to the dealer ship and they told me that wasn't the right battery for my car. Since discovering them, I've now purchased 3 batteries in the last year (2 in the same week-just coincidence) on 3 different cars. Their prices are always lower than all the auto supply stores, even Walmart, for a comparable battery, or better. If you are OK to make the drive out west Belmont, and you don't care about the brand name of the batteries (they are high quality, just not a name you would recognize), This place will save you some cash, and they are super helpful. What caused me to write this was my experience today. Took my daughter's 17 year-old Toyota Camry there because the "Die-Hard" battery in it had given up (5 yrs). When the guy at Battery Exchange looked at it, he informed me that the case around the positive post had cracked. It was clear from all the corrosion that acid had leaked out. He wasn't sure he could remove the terminal without it breaking. Anyway, he spend a good 20 minutes working it out, while his partner doused everything around the battery with a baking soda solution to help neutralize the acid. Over-and-above service, so impressed. Beside new ones, they also recondition old batteries and resell them, even cheaper, but that's a choice you can make. Highly recommended. read more
