This may be unfair, but I ordered the Orecchiette Pasta (chive & watercress pesto pasta, garden peas and grilled asparagus). It was probably a bad idea, but it was just so unappetising, I could not bring myself to eat it. The prosecco that I ordered was out of stock so I settled for the Vino Spumante Rosato Brut. I didn't enjoy this either. The only saving grace was the side of onion rings, beautifully crisp and tasty.
On the other hand, my partner ordered the chefs special, slow braised lamb shoulder accompanied by pearl barley and beans. She loved it! Very tender and tasty.
