They called me several times to change my appointment around. When I got there, I was asked to pick a color. Then waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. Not because they were busy or working on another client which was kinda confusing. Before the woman started (drilling/filing) working on my acrylic fill she pulled out a page of the comic section from last Sundays newspaper instead of a paper towel. I was pretty surprised, hadn't seen that before. Didn't seem like tools were well sanitized. When she put the liquid on so your nails don't lift it burned. When I went to wash my hands (when she told me to) it was the last step and after she had applied polish and a top coat. In the past I've usually washed my hands after the filing/drilling was done and before polish. The fill was $60 which is more than I've paid at a more sanitary, clean salon. So my search continues to see where I can find a salon that I won't be reading Calvin & Hobbs, worry about getting an infection and not have to use nail polish remover to clean up the excess nail polish around my cuticles. I would hope the health department or someone mandates the cleanliness of salons.

Over the course of three wax appointments, she has never been on time--arriving 45 minutes late once, 15 minutes late another time, and 12 minutes late on another occasion. Shockingly, she even showed up to one appointment visibly high and openly bragged about it. On top of that, she has canceled on me three times--twice within 12 hours and once just an hour before the appointment.
