I'm new to area and purchased a human hair wig for over$200. The combs were placed in the wrong place. The band keeps coming loose so the wig will not stay put unless you place Bobby pins a over it it . Poor quality and poor customer service If you have another option use it!!!!! read more

My name is Victoria, and I am a beauty-aids junkie... Therefore, I have already been in this store twice, and it just opened a few days ago. This is a brand new brick structure. It's adorned with full pictures of beautiful black models on the outside walls. There is no signage outside, and the parking lot looks abandoned. So we weren't sure if it was opened yet. With my afore mentioned appreciation for beauty supplies.... We ventured in to explore. What we were met with was this great, big, all-encompassing beauty supply store! They had a tremendous sale that I had to take advantage of. I appreciated that the aisles are huge and the store is colorful, well lit and nicely stocked. They are still getting some items in, but if you let the staff know what you need, they will order it. The lines are nice and short. They also play a good selection of urban music so you can bop while you shop. Both days it was hot like fire in there! Not the slang "fire," as in lit. It was actually very hot. I am not sure why the air conditioner wasn't on. The first day I went in on Saturday they were live streaming from the store giving away perfume, and products on Instagram, to get people to come down, but they disregarded the patrons who showed up to buy in the store. I didn't get a coupon, not a branded hair product or even a "welcome to our store, hello." It seems to be a family business, and it was a fun shopping trips to feed my beauty supply addiction.... The Beauty Depot is a brand new and much needed addition to the Concord area. It's family owned and operated by several caring partners who put a lot of effort and thought into this business. They just opened and are having an amazing grand opening sale on lots of products. What I like about The Beauty Depot is; the two young men at the counter had nice personalities, (I asked them a lot of questions for a thorough review) and the manager Dean was great! Dean greeted us so warmly when we entered the store; he came over to let us know that he's here to help us and if there was anything we needed just let him know. Right before I checked out I asked Dean for a particular item and after searching for it without success, he took out his phone to make sure he learned more about it so he would have it in stock the next time I came back. Although this is a new business the store is "HUGE," clean, organized and filled with a great selection of hair care products, clothing, costume jewelry, makeup and beauty supplies; there's honestly something for everyone. read more

I've been waiting for this place to open as there are no beauty supply stores with black hair care products near the mall. Wonderful experience. The store is huge with an expansive wig collection which is what I came for. I actually ended up coming back later in the week for a second wig. Good service. Very much needed business in this area. I have never seen such a clean , super extensive selection of VERY HARD to find beautician tools . I was amazed to find lace tint sorry and an overwhelming selection of good quality cosmetics. Well they have 0 customer service skills, asked cashier how he was doing twice, no answer, just rude, he was suppose to greet me..and you a foreigner too..will not go back..black Americans keep them profiting but they are terrible, try to go to a black owned business!!! read more

To start off with most of the bundles seem like amazing quality! Jade and another lady with short blonde hair( I don't recall her name) were super helpful and great! However, the 2 boys at the register have terrible customer service! I was looking to get the silver bundle deal however they had no 20" bundles! Which means you couldn't get half of the bundle deals! We asked the boy at the counter 2 times if they had any and he stated they did not and just walked away! As an accommodation the lady with the blonde hair said that she would let me get a higher quality hair for a discounted price because of it! Once we got to the register as I was giving him my money he states that the price of the hair would be an additional $110 because she told me the wrong price. I explain the situation to him and he acted as if he was slow and repeatedly repeated that it was different hair. The blonde lady then told him that she was accommodating me and he still refused to do it! He then lies and says he had said it was in a box which he never did! He then pulls out this thin crispy smelling bundles and tries to act as if it is the same hair! The blonde lady then tries to tell him its not the same or even close to the same quality but he still refuses to make the accommodations snd starts arguing with me! The fact that I spent over 2 hours in this store trying to find a solution and then refused the accommodations is absurd! I will never return back which sucks because the other bundles were of great quality! However the customer service I received was terrible! read more
