I am in my 5th Year of going to this salon. When I first looked for a salon I wanted one that was clean and had appointments. All of these ladies schedules on are time, like a well-oiled machine. But instead I found something even better, a home that can take care of all of my "I deserve this" needs. The salons owner Melissa who takes care of my nails is an absolutely fabulous conversationalist but you won't hurt her feelings if you say you just rather sit and listen to your music or surf the web on your phone. Sage who does my hair. She can do any kind of hair, color, highlights extensions. If you're a guy you need a haircut or a little kid you need a haircut then Sage is your person. You've got Denise who does waxes, eyebrows, facials and a whole host of other things. There are additional Hair & Nail estheticians in the salon but I just can't remember their names at this time. All I can say is as soon as they get it a masseuse in I will be spending my entire Fridays in there. Thank goodness they are all young, well young based on my age. This means they won't be retiring soon and I will have Melissa and the whole crew for a long long time. If you are time oriented and need an appointment they are perfect if you just need to drop in they are perfect but I do suggest you call ahead if you want to drop in because they are just that busy. And one more thing you get what you pay for. You go to a cheap salon where they push people through like animals to a slaughterhouse, you get sloppy jobs. You come here and you get a super professional job and well worth every penny to look as beautiful as you can be. I waited in Melissa's room for 30 minutes. She states because I didn't mention anything, she assumed it was fine. I told her what I wanted. At no time did she say I should not get them or tell me to be careful with long nails. I got the nails done. It took 3 and a half hours. Three days later one completely broke off. The next day another broke off. I requested $20 refund, for the nails and being late. After long nonsense responses she only gave me $10 and blamed it on me that it was my fault they broke. Very unprofessional on how to respond to clients when there is conflict. Don't blame the client! read more

Let me start by saying...Melissa did my nails and I LOVED them! I no longer live in Merced, but I am in town frequently to visit my family. I received botched acrylics from a nail salon in LA and I desperately needed them fixed because I couldn't look at them any longer. Melissa fit me in last minute for an appointment. She took her time fixing/reshaping/polishing my nails even though she knew I was from out of town and wouldn't be a regular client. Aside from being a talented nail tech, Melissa made the experience enjoyable because she is very friendly and easy to converse with. I wanted several specific colors and she calmly took the time helping me find them as well as the right jewels. The salon is also very clean & cute! I'd recommend this place (and Melissa) to anyone. Honestly, I wish I could come get my nails done here over any of the places I've been to in LA. It's nice knowing there's a great spot in Merced to get my nails done while I'm in town. read more

This was my first time getting my nails done by Ashley and she was very friendly and professional. My nails came out gorgeous and more beautiful than I could hope for. I went in expecting something else but came out with a fabulous set of acrylic nails that I can't stop looking at. I will now be a regular customer of Ashley's because she does quality work! read more

I go here to get my eye brows waxed every couple of weeks by Daniella. She is amazing!! She has transformed my brows over the last year! Everything in her area is so nice and clean looking. It is such a relaxing little area. She is always willing to work with my hectic schedule and get me in. I love Daniella. She always has conversations with me and we laugh and have a great time while I get my wax. My tip for this salon though is to try not to plan your appointment around lunch. The parking lot is small and there are a few other stores and a it can be hard to find a spot. read more

The yelp page says they open at 9 but their Facebook page says they open at 10, so I decided to go at 10. When I got there at 10:30ish the door was locked and the lights were off. Not sure if they closed down or not but I wasn't very happy. read more

First time in long time getting a full set, and this was my first time at this salon. Melissa was awesome and very personable, made for a nice experience. Plus she took the time to make my nails fabulous. This is not a rushed environment where you feel like the care isn't taken with your service. Customer service is top notch. The name says it all. The owner Melissa is a perfectionist and does beautiful nail art. I moved here from the Bay Area, not really expecting much. What attracted me to her salon, was 1. All credit cards accepted, 2. By appointment, 3. Full Service, 4. True Professionals. My nails did not look this good done by any of the "foo foo" salons in the Bay Area. I have had them done every two weeks for more than 15 years and I have to say, she is the best......and what happens when you have the best? You pay a bit more, but get so much more! The new location is becoming a work of art and a place of leisure and pleasure. You owe it to yourself to make an appointment and see what I am talking about. read more
