There is a small bar to enjoy a tipple in before been seated in a relaxed but up-market dining area. If you visit during the daytime there is a huge lawn with stunning views that you can have drinks or food on. The menu is contemporary British with a Mediterranean twist. The food has always been good here along with the service. However, my friends and I agree that the menu could probably do with a bit of an update or shake-up; it's been the same for too long. The last time we visited we enjoyed the sample bites to share (a great idea for a mixed starter for the table.) I also had the risotto which was very good. As always a fairly competent meal out. I went for the corned beef hash with fried egg (and a cheeky home made baked beans with beef to the side). Honestly one of the best brunches I've ever had. Crunchy and delicious on the outside, and the beef inside was incredibly soft and tasty. I also tried a bit of Ems eggs royale (standard) and it was creamy, light and delicious.
