This bar is located in Waterloo station. When I waited a train for Feltham, I used this. You know London Waterloo station is very big station. With 124 million travelers passing through this station every year, I wanted to escape from the crowds and to drink craft beers. So looking for a bar to drink beer in the station, I found this bar opposite Platform 2 and 3 on the main concourse.
This bar is serving up a brilliant range of big name beers, local heroes and classic crafts. Proper prints, awesome food and all with huge amounts of modesty. Maybe, as long as I remember, there are three or four keg taps of mainly larger, Guinness Ice Cold, one Meantime Special and Brewdog 5am Saint and a handful of craft bottles/non-craft bottles such as Sierra Nevada, Cerveza Cristal, Duval, Samuel Adams, Camden Town Helles. Not at all extensive and i expected to find at least one rare beer on keg. Instead what you can say is that they have something good to drink, beyond the standard pub fare.
The hamburger's served here also looked good, but I didn't try one. read more
