He was dressed in chore clothes (and a mask) which should not matter but it did. When he entered the store he was not so much approached as he was called to across the store. My husband said what we were looking for. She called out that the cheapest headboard was over $700. My husband just said $700? Her response was "You can always go to Walmart." A smart sales person would have at least made some effort for him to stay....maybe say "Let me look in our catalogues, or here is my card, have you shopped here before?" When I found out they were not skate skis and contacted the owner, Rob, about returning them, he explained that their no return/exchange policy did not require them to purchase them back from me. I was greeted warmly right away from the owner from behind the register. Mimi's is one of those stores that you can get lost in finding treasures or trinkets like book, boots, furs. The owner approached in a pleasing way to see if I needed assistance. All the items are clearly marked with a price tag and to my many seemed a bit overpriced, but all were in good condition with no odors, stains or rips. The furniture portion of the store is not nearly as crowded and is arranged in living area bunches. All the items are of very good to excellent quality. The lighting is good throughout the store and sales staff are not pushy. Jane made polite inquiries and asked if another customer would like to join the guestbook for future specials. The entire 30 minutes I spent in Mimi's was great, the music not too Ioud. I would highly recommend this store.x and it was clear Mimi has a lot of repeat customers as inventory is often changing. Besides the prices, I think Mimi is taking good care of customers, merchandising and signage.

The parking lot was clean of trash though the carts needed to be brought in. Inside the store, there was no trash that I could see. The shelves were decently stocked.
