Greens were punched recently but were in awful shape. Tees were almost perfect though. If I lived in the neighborhood and was a member I would be furious. For only a few golf courses in college station it's sad there isn't better options.

Joining the tennis at pccc has seriously been such a joy and highlight for me for the past 2 years. The club also offers exercise classes and has a decent gym that my husband uses. One of the best things that the club offers is kids Klub!!! It's super affordable and allows parents to be involved- it's the only way I've been able to play tennis again! In addition, pccc has a good restaurant that changes its menu a lot and offers a great variety. They have a great view of the golf course, good specials on various nights, live music some, decent prices and more! The pool was also redone fairly recently and includes a swim up bar, splash pad, slide, beach front entrance! The golf course is pretty nice and it doesn't feel like you're even in college station. The club offers kids sports camp in the summer too! This club offers so so much to individuals, couples, and families!! I highly recommend joining here as it's an affordable club in town and also is a wonderful experience! They also offer half off initiation fees throughout the year at various times, CHECK IT OUT!! When I myself arrived with other items (coolers of soda, napkins, extra utensils) the two women quickly joined in helping me unload my van and the contents. Before the Christmas party started, food was prepped so it was fresh, neatly laid out on the table, and refilled promptly as the night continued. My boss was very appreciative of the attention to detail when it came to cleaning afterwards, and how quickly everything was handled. Not enough praise can be given to Epicures for how well everything was handled.

Of course, that and anything else Aggie is played way up here at the Texas A&M Hotel. I was in town for a Class of 1980 Reunion and snagged a very reasonable $142 per night group rate. I didn't get the Kyle field view, but on a non-game weekend, so what? I enjoyed my 3 day stay very much. The room was spacious, had nice desk space, plenty of storage, and really comfortable bed that I slept well on, good WIFI, and an excellent shower. I ordered breakfast sandwiches at the cafe on ground floor, checked out the Aggie branded merchandise at their well appointed gift shop, enjoyed a grand happy hour reception at Block T, and felt honored by all the Howdy Hospitality. This Hotel's campus location made walking anywhere very convenient, especially since I didn't rent a car. This place most probably takes on more boisterous energy on game day, and I was happy with the slower pace during my stay. The Texas A&M Hotel would be a definite first choice in some future return trip to Aggieland.
