Such a great hostel! Well decorated, plenty of amenities, perfect location. We stayed one night in a 6 man bay. The bunk beds are very cool and it was nice that each room had its own bathroom and shower. We were a party of three and there were two other guests in our room. One of the other guests was in bed with the lights out by 8pm which was rather frustrating because we felt like we had to tiptoe around the entire evening. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. There was a small bar inside the hostel with three beers on tap. The back deck was amazing with a fire pit and a hot tub. We would definitely return, but maybe get a private room next time.

Late post! Met up with a few friends here a couple years back. It was in a perfect location to catch a shuttle to go to Breckenridge for snowboarding/skiing. For being a hostel, I thought it was pretty amazing. It was a cute set up. They had breakfast in the morning available for you. I highly recommend staying here. 12/14/2016

Had an awesome time here! Beautiful views and very clean with a helpful staff. Russ and Michelle took awesome care of us. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was helpful and room was comfortable and quiet. They let us keep our gear in our car and access it daily to change in and out of ski gear instead of setting ourselves up with ski lockers which was nice too. The parking was an added 45$ a day but the convenience was too good to beat. Will be back for future ski trips!

This was our first time in Breckenridge and at Gravity Haus. 1- don't expect any greeting or direction upon arrival. We parked at valet stand and no one was there, walked in checked in and they gave key cards and said they would text me for valet. No welcome, no directions to our room, literally nothing else. 2 - we are in room 320 Trailblazer, upon walking in there were three flys buzzing around and room was hot. 3 - we are traveling with a baby and specifically booked this room as it had two rooms with doors inside. - after getting baby asleep after travel day we come to find out the right side door doesn't even shut, latch is broken, SUPER ANNOYING. Had to wake baby up and switch rooms. 4 - left door with working latch happens to be the squeakiest door in Colorado. Fix the dang doors guys! 5 - both side tooma have a tiny maybe 10 inch fan circulating air so in essence these tiny rooms become extremely hot and stuffy. Horrible option for a sleeping baby!! Door becomes useless, choose noise level over temperature. 6 - speaking of noise, freaking barking dogs in the hallway with owners who have zero respect or courtesy. Also, as I'm laying here fighting this review about every 8 minutes some door shuts on the floor and slams shut. Slamming doors all night is all I see in my future! 7 - a primary reason we booked this hotel was for the reviews for the restaurant and the food options available. Come to find out it was closed for a private event......cool, so glad we planned for a nice dinner at the hotel. So long story short, would I stay here for free......No Would I pay the exorbitant amount for the room and parking for below sub par service and quality.......hell no.......never again.

Valdoro Mountain Lodge is a mixed experience for me overall, I'd rate it 2.5-3 stars…read more We stayed here during New Year's week. The location is definitely a plus it's close to town, walkable to shops and restaurants, and near the slopes, which makes it convenient if you're planning a ski trip. The property is also part of the Hilton Grand Vacations portfolio, and they offer self-parking, which I believe is complimentary. That said, the property itself feels pretty outdated. While I believe some of the rooms have been renovated, the overall facilities, lobby, gym, spa, and general décor could really use a refresh. The front desk area in particular felt a bit drab and not very welcoming. Check-in was just okay. We are Hilton owners (though not at this specific property), and while I understand priority may go to owners here, it was a little disappointing that we couldn't get a better room especially since the property didn't seem very full at the time. Our two-bedroom unit itself was decent. The showers had great water pressure, which I appreciated, but the bedding could use improvement the pillows were too soft for my liking. The bathroom overall was fine, although I personally didn't feel comfortable using the bathtub as it didn't seem as clean as I would've liked. I did like the fireplace in the room which came in handy and the balcony was nice. One downside is that housekeeping isn't automatically included you need to meet a certain stay threshold, which wasn't ideal. The amenities were underwhelming. The gym was very small and not well-equipped. The spa didn't really feel like a spa, and when I tried to use the steam room, it wasn't even on. There are multiple jacuzzis, but one wasn't working during our visit, so I had to move to another and share, which wasn't ideal. They do offer complimentary coffee and hot cocoa in the lobby, but it's only available for a short window and is more of a self-serve packet setup, which we did not like and didn't use. The biggest issue for me was the lack of follow-up from staff. After checkout, I realized I had left behind a small bag of items in the room. I called multiple times and was told each time that someone would follow up with housekeeping and call me back but I never received a call. When I finally reached someone again, I was told the items couldn't be found. The lack of communication and follow-through left a bad impression. Overall, while the location is great and the rooms are decent, the outdated facilities, inconsistent service, and lack of follow-up make it hard for me to return.

When we were using the hot tub we were the only people in this area so that was nice. They've got steam rooms, a gym, a lounge, a game room, and some grills out back from the 2nd floor. Also they do have a ski shop where you can rent equipment or buy things like hats, gloves, refreshments, etc. The room was nice. Our bed was comfortable. I enjoyed having both a tub and a shower in our bathroom. The people working here were amazing. Friendly and would quickly attend to any needs that we have. For example anytime we called the shuttle they would be there pretty soon afterward! Seriously the employees here really is what made this place earn its 5 star rating! Great location close to the slopes and close to Main Street for shopping and dining!

Doorless shower allowing water to spray all over the floor no matter how you angle the showerhead. No pressure in the shower and sticky mixing valve (you will boil your skin or freeze it). No updated plugs anywhere (usb A on a clock on one nightstand only). Furniture, fixtures, and decor is very worn (it was probably nice 25 years ago). Full kitchen without many pans, small appliances, utensils, cookware (and what is in there is beat/scratched/needs replacement. One bedroom king suite is fairly small. No rooms with fireplaces inside (there is one in the lobby). Not ski in/ski out, but there is a shuttle. If you're not on the top floor, you will hear every footstep down the hall (walls are thin as well and you will not sleep well due to noise from other guests, staff, the street). No personalized service, no loyalty recognition. Parking is not included in your expensive rate (it's another $20 per day). Outdoor fire pit shown in marketing photos isn't lit at all (maybe in the summer only?). Stairwell smelled like pot 24/7 despite signs saying it was prohibited in there (yes I know it's CO). Pet friendly, so you will hear bogs barking in the middle of the night. The value isn't there (nights are pricey and what you get--or don't--isn't worth it).

I found fireside online and it was by far the most affordable option in Breckenridge for a single night so I went for it in a two person dorm, and luckily I happened to be the only one in that room that night! The room was definitely snug but it was cozy and very comfortable and I slept very well. Finding the place was also very easy, they provide very clear instructions and there is plenty of parking at the church across the street (just mind their specific parking instructions and you won't have any trouble). Re: the interior: it's actually a very large place with two full baths and one half bath. I never even saw/heard another guest when I came but again it was late. The vibe was that it was a very comfy, chill place - they have soothing music playing over by the office door where the coffee/tea machines are, and there is a small kitchen and living room area. They had a real fire going in the living room area and there were games and books and lots of "things to do" brochures around, so truly it felt like being in a cozy cabin. I genuinely really loved that vibe. Not to mention it's quite close to the main road - you could easily walk but because it was raining heavily the night I came, I did drive all of 3 minutes to avoid walking 15 in the rain to the bar on Main Street I wanted to go to. They also sent me a text when i came in case i had questions, so they are available to help you. Overall - if you're coming and staying here for just a night or two and all you need is a bed/shower/safe space, this place is GREAT. Admittedly the rooms aren't big (at least mine wasn't), but again as a solo traveler it was fine. Would def rec to friends :)

We'll absolutely be back!

We stayed several nights here in February, and I had some mixed feelings about this hotel…read more Good things first. This is a nice Hilton hotel...and our room looked stellar (can't believe I didn't take pictures of the room!). It was very modern, and possibly twice the size of a typical Courtyard Marriott room...very spacious! Also, the view from our room was awesome. We had direct view of the mountain and the ski lifts...and my husband simply had to walk across the street to ski each day (I don't ski). That said, there were MANY things that were just off. For starters, the room temperature was rather hot...so much so that I had a hard time sleeping! Their thermostat wouldn't go lower than 68, for one. You'd think that in a snowy winter, the rooms would be cool...but not really. It was warm...especially at nights. Also, the showerhead was very weak, and there was no coffee machine...but instead, an espresso machine. Otherwise, the room and bath amenities were really good. Maid service was terrible! On the day we took off the "Do Not Disturb " sign (meaning, YES we want service!), it was so difficult to get service at the right time. The room attendants knocked on the door 2 times in the morning...even AFTER I told them to come clean the room after 11:30 am! Then, when we returned to the room at around 4 pm, the room wasn't even cleaned. I had to request room service then AGAIN...and had to wait out in their lobby area. When I returned to the room, there were scattered mess (pieces of paper??) on the floor that they didn't pick up! Their complimentary shuttle service was totally unreliable! When I was out and about in Breckenridge, I gave up on waiting on their shuttle. Just did NOT arrive every 20 minutes as indicated! I basically gave up on their shuttle service after Day 1. On Wednesday night (2/11th), we had a dinner reservation at 5:45 pm...so we came down to wait for the shuttle 30 minutes prior. The driver didn't show up until 6 pm!! Then the driver went inside the hotel (bathroom break?!?) for another 10 minutes! We nearly missed our dinner...luckily, we called and they agreed to wait for us. Also, hate to say it, but this bus driver had a horrible BO. Topping all this off, he dropped us off at the wrong stop...seemingly purposefully. OMFG!!! Even their valet service was unreliable. On the day we were headed to Vail, one of the valet attendant forgot to put my husband's ski gear in our rented car...so we had to drive back to get it. It costed us at least 1 hour of our day in Vail. We were furious!!! Then the added fees-charges. They charge you $50 per day for valet parking (no regular parking)! We found this very offputting. Then, on top of this, they charged you $60 resort fee per day!! As nice as this hotel was, there were just way too many things wrong! I'm still thinking about calling the Manager to get a partial refund (at the very least) for our overpriced valet/resort fees...given how unhospital their services were! In short, I do NOT recommend this place! Surely, there are better hotels/resorts with more reliable services in Breckenridge.
