I wish we could have convinced our son to do it years ago. Unfortunately, our son ended his life at age 40 when he lost his battle with mental illness. His brain was so very sick for so long that we were unable to help him. We thought our grief would keep us in our dark tunnel of depression for the rest of our lives. I'm so thankful we reached out for help. Neurofeedback healed our brains and helped us to see that there is transformation after trauma, and now we take time to talk to others about the extreme value of this therapy for us. After a few months of doing neurofeedback, we also did talk therapy with a psychologist who specialized in trauma. We weren't ready to talk at first, but helping to heal my mental issues through this brain therapy enabled me to function more clearly. I no longer had the intense physical and emotional symptoms that made each day difficult to face. Everything felt calmer, and we could sleep at night! My husband and I still deeply miss our son everyday, but now can share our feelings with each other and others too. Even though our last therapy session ended last year, we still see positive changes in our personalities--meaning the negative emotions of anxiety, and depression associated with our grief, feel less overwhelming and intense, and are shorter, and less often than before. I'm able to actually write this review to you!!! Since doing neurofeedback, we have also had some additional family challenges as life will bring, and we have been able to weather the storm better than we ever had before, and to feel able to help loved ones effectively, yet manage our own emotions. The brain healing has stayed with us. No matter what your challenges, I urge you to put yourself and your brain first so that you can be better everyday. Bio and neurofeedback are easy non-invasive ways of regaining your peace and confidence. Not all centers are well-equipped with the best possible technology and equipment through the country. Then they cleaned up their act, and customer service was great for a few years. Now it's back to the dumps again. Staff are unprofessional hanging out gossiping, and once again talking down on Veterans. This was definitely the atmosphere in the Lab, where I had to return a week later and leave a second sample because They didn't run all the labs requested by the physician. The second visit I was helped by a second employee who thought they needed talk to me as if I was in boot camp. Very unprofessional.......

The severe pain in my mouth included with chewing, ulcers inside my mouth and infection of the jaws. I was on soft diet for several weeks and Tylenol with no relief. My PCP at Tryon Medical Partners at Pineville location had retired and saw, Dr. David Colon in Pineville. Had the office visit and he prescribed two medications. Upon receiving a statement that I owed $274.93 because this was dental and not covered, routine visit was billed and not covered . I contacted his office trying to figure out the problem with the codes after speaking with Medicare. The code was incorrect per them and if the visit was Medically Necessary should had been covered. Talked with billing and said the code was changed but it was not, only the wording. It was denied because of diagnostic code and he would not change it. If your sick and feel you need medical care for healing, what are you supposed to do?? I felt like was deem it a necessary visit as I left with 2 RX and was sick for weeks with infection. I still have not heard from them except a statement in the mail for payment and his assistant said through MyChart, he would change the code so that my payment would be LESS. Still waiting. Now I am afraid to go to a PCP doctor afraid I will be stuck with another bill! I feel like as a Retired- Senior Citizen I am being taken advantage of and have this my financial responsibility. STAY AWAY FROM HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OUT OF POCKET WHEN YOU HAVE MEDICARE AND SUPPLEMENT COVERAGE TO PAY FOR YOUR VISIT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I could post a 0, I would do that.

I told them my husband's condition, and the lady called him my "boyfriend"; I told them exactly where his pain was, and their next question was again, where is his pain; I told them he just had an MRI, and she follows up by asking if he had any x-rays or MRI's. It felt as if talking to an AI would have been easier. Good luck scheduling. Additional: It seems the same lady who gave us such a difficult time scheduling then scheduled us for the wrong time, we had to call her back, and she put us on hold + transferred us to someone else to fix her mistake. Stellar. Edit: After all that, it seems the office retaliated by canceling our appointments. I wouldn't recommend this place... felt like a real waste of time.
