I worked with Helen Victoria for my hair and she was so responsive and helpful leading up to my wedding day. My mother in law and best friend had their hair done by Molly and were equally impressed with their results! All of us had our makeup done by Michelle Sachs and she is so good! The makeup looked stunning and held up all day but felt so light on our skin. In addition to all of us being very happy with how we looked, we were also so well taken care of by the entire staff at the salon. They ensured we had the coffee, tea or water needed at all times, they allotted space for my wedding dress for the day and allowed us to get ready in one of the open esthetician rooms and even relax in the break room when we were all ready for the event. Then, she did a tease method when balayage is normally free hand. I didn't ask for ombré. She wanted to keep my hair curly even though I told her I would just end up straightening it at home. When I did I discovered that it wasn't blended at all and was super patchy. And that just basic technique. The back was also a lot darker that the front, she didn't leave enough time for it to lighten. Needless to say, won't be going back. My money definitely went down the drain.

We also did not want a large salon as we are limiting our contacts. K+Co is a small, two stylist shop and they try to schedule appointments so that both stylists and their clients are not there at the same time. They don't always succeed at this but they try. I use Katie who does men's hair and my wife uses Kelly who does women's hair. We have both been very pleased with the quality of service we have received. We have also appreciated the attention they have given to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus by careful masking, sanitation and scheduling. We highly recommend K+Co.

This isn't unexpected nor was it a bad thing but could be good to note if noise levels are hard for some people. The aesthetic of the salon was airy but chic. We got a couples massage and I had Kristina as my massage therapist. By the way, when I booked the massages I just asked for an hour massage, didn't specify deep tissue, relaxation, etc. Starting off, the experience was fine. Their women's locker room isn't spacious but it has what you need - soft robes, sandals, bathrooms, and showers. You get comfy and relax in the lounge while you wait for your service. This time around, the lounge attendant didn't acknowledge us at all, didn't offer a drink nor the heated neck wrap. It was fine, I brushed it off because our service was in about 8 mins, so didn't have too much time to enjoy. The massage is the reason why this review is only 2 stars. We get called back, and it's a couples massage so me and my sister hear each others convos. My sister's massage therapist was kind and making sure she was comfortable. Mine asked if there were and areas I'd like her to focus on, I said lower back and shoulders. She spent more time on my legs and arms than my back at all. When she was working on my back, I asked about pressure, she said she was doing medium pressure. I requested more pressure, she ignored my request. She didn't respond nor did she change her pressure. Ending the massage, she hands me the glass of water and says.. you'll really want to schedule a massage, you're really tense in your shoulders.. I mean.. isn't that what I just did? Why did her giving me a massage for the last 55 minutes not help my tension in my shoulders? $140 wasted on this massage. Yes, I got to hang out with my sister, but didn't need to spend $140 to do that. It looks like they are a hair, nail and massage place all in one. The pedicure chairs are in their own room and once you are done, you can go relax in the spa back room. The back room has a nice vibe, good lighting and wonderful scent and you can help yourself to water or hot tea. You do have to be quiet, so that was a bit annoying since I was there to catch up with a friend but I get that it is best for those relaxing before/after a massage. The price is a bit much - $83 + tip for a basic 1 hour pedicure.
