First time here donating blood With Bailey and Michael. My heart rate was 103 so I had to wait 10 mins and do it again & still high so she went off my wrist pulse which was 97. They pricked my finger it was good. Michael's heart rate was high so they did the same with him. Baileys hemoglobin was too low so she wasn't allowed to donate today. New Blood Connection Services in Raleigh. I had been a regular blood donor with the Rex Blood Services. I just visited the Blood Connection office for the first time. I am very disappointed. The receptionist was fine, but the rest of the staff was sloppy, non-professional and sleepy. The health history on the computer was a disaster because the staff could not spell or use the keyboard. She then got her fingers stuck together with tape and dropped the needle sticking into my arm.
