At the appointment, tests are reviewed and discussed. The staff is friendly and professional. The office is spotless. Any X-rays, CT scans, breathing tests, ultrasounds, are conveniently held there. In addition, there is a Urgent care facility connected with the practice so your records are available for faster service and can be used for follow up care as well during the after hours.

Despite this medical emergency occurring before any actual visit, we were charged for the encounter. When I initially contacted the location, Prisma on Tiger Blvd., I was told that "they did some stuff on him," which did not align with what occurred. I was also told their manager said we were not entitled to a refund. After numerous attempts to speak with someone within Prisma, I was finally contacted by Patience Boyd, who informed me that she had reviewed the video footage of the incident. She confirmed that a refund was warranted. That conversation took place on January 30th, and I have yet to receive the refund or any follow-up communication. I have called Patience again to inquire about the status, but I still have not received any response. This situation has been extremely disappointing. I should not have to make repeated calls or navigate multiple departments to receive a refund that Prisma has already acknowledged is due. Given the seriousness of the circumstances, this should have been handled promptly and proactively. Please confirm that the refund is being processed immediately, along with a clear timeline for when it will be completed. If additional information is needed from me, I expect to be contacted without further delay.

Was asked if I would like a procedure rather than why my body might need it. The front desk ladies are nice on the phone but while sitting waiting for the nurse to come in the room, you can hear everyone talking so poorly about the customers that were calling in. I don't feel like I trust that this place is looking out for the best of their clients, I am really considering finding another GI because of how much this experience shook my anxiety up.

I am sad that I have to make this post after being a patient of Dr Abraham for 9 years. I enjoyed…read morethe empty waiting room and quick visits while my health was good. Sadly, the last 6 months his service has been horrible! He decided that my labs for my thyroid levels were troubling him, despite no complaints from me. He decided to lower my dose of synthroid twice in the 6 months and when I called to complain I felt terrible, I was told I'm fine (after making 3 phone calls about it). He never looked at my chart and realized I had gained 25 pounds nor listened when I told him I was suffering. When it was time for my quartet appointment, he downright argued with me that my labs indicate that I should be using even less of the synthroid. He, reluctantly, upped my dose, saying he was making all kinds of notes that it was against his better judgement, and, lo and behold, I was feeling better within the week. I knew then I had to find another doctor. Today I met with Dr Christian Askew of Anmed and he changed my life! I was actually skipping when I left his office, after spending almost 2 hours talking with him! It turns out because I had thyroid cancer, the numbers for my thyroid levels are much different than someone with a thyroid and now are fully in line with where they should be. Also, Dr Abraham put me on a "memory" medicine that was for Alzheimer's and never even told me that's what it's for. Dr Askew adjusted my other medications that weren't seeming to be working anymore and offered a different way of taking them. He is young, smart and in tune with new information. Unlike Dr Abraham, who is total old school and it's his way or the highway, never wanting to admit a mistake. Well, Dr Abraham, you were wrong about my thyroid levels and made me miserable and when I met with you to get my medications, you could care less that I was leaving your practice after 9 years. Oh, and I also found out I don't have to be seen quarterly, as you require. You just do it so you can bill Medicare! Crook! If you haven't figured out who I am yet, it's Gigi, and I had to use a different email because I left you a positive recommendation 7 years ago! I am so thankful to leave Dr Abraham in the rear view mirror and feel so much more confident with my current care.

At home in Keowee Key I call and/or a phone call Kelley answers the Phone. She will arrange a same day visit if needed and/or a personal call. I winter in Naples, FL. Did not feel good on Sunday morning. I took the Covid 19 test. At 9 AM it showed positive red. Called Dr. Liebman at home. He called my pharmacy in Naples with medication. I've read the two other reviews and i am truly sorry they had a bad experience with this hospice…read morefacility. I'm also amazed. Because in November 2017 and in February 2019 my family used both Hospice in house care for my sister in 2017 and Hospice home are for my mother in 2019. And although I cannot report that everything was perfect, it was pretty great for the most part. In 2017 my sister died of liver failure she was very sick and we were just unable to care for her at home. I have to say that the hospice staff were compassionate and very professional. Were there staff members that I didn't care for... yes. There was one I felt didn't belong there. But she still did her job. My family is so appreciative of the care not only my sister received but the whole family received during the terrible time in our lives. They helped us with everything. Medicare,insurance, general information on what to expect, then the things we needed to think about that we were not ready to think about but they still needed to be thought about. The arrangements that would need to be made, getting death certificates, how many we would need. If we chose cremation what would that entail. Things nobody ever wants to deal with. I appreciated their help and experience. Then in February 2020 my mother was coming to the end of her life. She did not want to go to Hospice she wanted to pass in her own home. She was very determined to be in her own bed. We (my sister and I) took care of her the best we could for as long as we could. But she was in pain and sick and weak and was loosing control of her bodily functions. And at this point we realized we just couldn't do it by ourselves. We called hospice and found out about the home care program. And really that we had been eligible for awhile for the extra help. I cannot tell you just how great the home are staff was. They came I think 3 or 4 days a week for several hours a day. They worked with my mom. They helped us better understand how we could help her be more comfortable during this time. And again what to expect and what we would need to do when then time came. They also supplied whatever we needed. medicine, protective pads for the bed, disposable underwear,alcohol pads, so much can't even remember it all now. one night (actually a couple of nights) my mom fell and we were unable to help her up. But we were instructed to call hospice and they would call 911 for us. The hospice on call nurse got there in ten minutes. A lot faster than the ems. Also if I remember correctly this meant the EMS charged through hospice to Medicare. We did not have to worry about anything. Again like withe the experience with my sister there was a nurse that I thought or rather I didn't agree with how she handled something. But in the whole big picture, everybody was kind, compassionate and professional. And really what more can you ask for than your loved one to be taken care of by people in this way. Thank you again for my sister and myself. Honestly I know it's not enough but Thank you.

So I was very nervous going to a new doctor because I had been to another site 3 times before…read moregetting a referral. Upon entering I met the most friendly receptionists. I felt right at home and they treated me so nicely. While I waited in the room I was nervous but in came Kara Kristen Cooper-Gilmer ,FNP. I asked way too many questions but she made me feel so welcomed. She answered them all and then some. She talked to me like I was an important person and like a real person should. She gave me plenty of advice and started me out on some migraine medicine after learning about what I was given previously. I would recommend her for ANYONE who needs to be seen for migraines or headaches. I'm actually excited to go back to my appointment. Soon after his first visit he started feeling better all over. He was able to open up to Dr. Kelsie and help her get him on the right medication.
