Guy abruptly tells me the boat is the price it is and that's it. I went back to look at it more and the guy didn't follow and didn't say anything more. Ok, buddy forget your boat. I stopped back a week or two later, just to look at it again. This time the same guy comes up to me and says you want the boat it's yours minus the $500 I initially asked about. Yeah, NO. We booked a Saturday at 12pm 90 minute tour and were told to arrive at about 11:30am. They let us board at that time - you need to present your online ticket / print out at the ticket booth and then they give you tickets to the boat. The boat itself has a downstairs area with port side with one women's bathroom and starboard side with one women's and one men's bathroom. You'll learn what port/starboard means during the tour. The bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks and snacks is on the first level. The second level has an area with a covered space in the back and seats open to the air on the front. Since it was a hotter day, my husband and I chose to sit on the bottom of the boat. We thought the best view there was at the front where you get a nice 180 degree view through the windows. We enjoyed the information on the tour and all the great views!

I've been on the hunt for solid paddle boarding spots that aren't too far from Milwaukee…read more We tried the pond at Veterans Park on the lakefront in Milwaukee, but I was so worried about falling in the water (it's not clean...at all) that I didn't enjoy it. We tried Pewaukee Lake, but there was a bit too much motor boat action to enjoy paddle boarding. I was flummoxed, until I spoke to someone who lives in Delafield. She recommended Lower Nemahbin Lake. Yahtzee! With free parking and easy access to a kayak/paddle board dedicated dock, Lower Nemahbin Lake is the perfect lake for us! Clean lake water flanked by lush green without too much motor boat activity (it isn't a wake-free lake but boaters are respectful and aren't abundant), we couldn't ask for a better location for paddle boarding. It has an anchored dock in the middle of the lake that we love paddling out to for an afternoon picnic on the lake (and to let the kiddo get some dock jumping/swimming in). It's also kinda fun to paddle under the overpass. Last time we went through, we were able to see a birds nest with peeping baby birds. All in all, a great spot to spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon. This review is for the lake in general for kayaking or paddle boarding. We have been kayaking and paddle boarding for three years now and been to 6 different lakes. I've lived on Okauchee Lake and grew up boating on many of these lake. The public access is down Sugar Island Road just off of I94 provides quick and easy access to the lake which is a bonus. Parking is limited but many cars don't seem to follow the signs which limits 10 cars to the parking lot. Without DNR manning and charging people this will happen. Still plenty of room to unload your gear and a short 100 feet walk or so to the kayak launch area with a short 20 feet pier. There is a public launch for boats but is for small fishing boats as it is a shallow launch and very shallow water for a long way past the island. The shallow water way has a sandy bottom so very little to no weeds and warmer water. Lower Nemahbin Lake is a 239 acre lake located in Waukesha County. It has a maximum depth of 36 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Overall a Great Lake to kayak, canoe or paddle boarding.

It was a horrible start to a Sturgeon trip at the launch this morning when the trim would not go up…read moreon my 2020 Pro XS. we made the decision to troubleshoot to no avail and we decided to hit up the local marina's and service centers. we stopped at 3 in the area and nobody was willing to help me(all Mercury Service dealers) and 1 in Suamico and he at least came out and looked. I finally decided to call Mr. Marine back and the only and only King of all Motors/Customer Service , Dave answered. Now Dave has worked on my previous boat, Motor and trailer and always been happy with him and team. This was the newer boat that Dave has not seen yet. Well after speaking with Dave OTP, he asked a few troubleshooting questions and first thought he could not help, but then again asked a few clarifying questions and said" You know what , bring it over here and I will take a quick look". I did just that and Dave immediately came out which he didn't have to do. After a few more questions and troubleshooting, Dave fixed my issue and schooled me on the problem, WHICH was my ignorance. And guess what, on my way back to the lake. I cant tell you how I felt, But Dave once again proved to me there are people in the world that still care about customer service and the customer.
