My path to booking a massage with Chelsea Privitera through Creative Wellness was random…read more I discovered I had a wellness card through my health insurance on 12/31 (can you say last minute?) and was in a panic looking for wellness places I could purchase a gift card from, online, for therapeutic treatments (I already have enough supplements for a lifetime). Luckily, I found Creative Wellness sold gift cards and provided online appointment booking for their advertised services. I knew I needed a massage, badly, and booked a 60 minute session with the first practitioner available: Chelsea Privitera. (I found out later that Chelsea is a separate entity than Creative Wellness, and even though she doesn't directly take Creative Wellness gift cards, Creative Wellness does honor them by reimbursing Chelsea, which I'm incredibly thankful for. It can be confusing because it looks like Chelsea is part of Creative Wellness when booking the appointment. When my gift card runs out, I will definitely be returning to Chelsea either way.) Upon arrival to the beautiful new location at Cardea Health Integrative, I noticed there were multiple buildings, and two of them looked residential. I started to have some anxiety about where to go; not wanting to walk into someone's house, so I walked towards the first building to the left when you enter the main driveway. It's a big white multi-storied house with a garage to the right of the house and has a sign for CHI. This house was indeed the place where Chelsea was located. Chelsea was nice enough to wait by the front door, otherwise I would've been lost and my agoraphobia could have spiraled more, which is not great prior to when you're supposed to relax. (Hopefully Creative Wellness will put up some signs to help guide clients to the right location. Apparently, there are two buildings with their practitioners. I am not sure which building it is in.) Chelsea was wonderful to talk to and she was very intentional with the therapeutic process and cared about what I wanted to work on during the session. I've been to a lot of massages where the room is cold, and even though this was an old (and incredibly gorgeous) house, there was a warm heating pad and a heater in the room, which was helpful. There was also a bathroom connected to the room, which was very convenient. The massage itself with Chelsea was wonderful. I really couldn't have hoped for a better one. I loved the scalp massage, the soothing herbal eye compress, and the warm towels placed on my back and neck at the end of the massage. Chelsea found the spots that were more troublesome on my back and neck (I'm a full-time cybersecurity researcher and writer. I type A LOT). I'm grateful she took the time to treat these areas. In summary, I will definitely go back to experience another massage treatment with Chelsea! Thanks!

I have been going to Creative Wellness since its inception about 3 years ago. Location has moved…read moreas business expanded, but the quality of service has remained consistently top notch. Primarily I have attended Yoga classes, but have also done Reiki, Reflexology, New Moon Integrations and Tai Chi. I have also attended programs for healthy diet. All have been wonderful! As Covid has impacted our lives, I now attend my Yoga classes virtually. In-person classes are still available. A variety of classes are offered every day at many different times, making it easy to fit into my schedule. Each instructor brings a special, unique feel to the practice and I always end my practice feeling better. Even my yellow lab will lay down and be soothed by the Yogi's calming voice! I can't imagine not having Creative Wellness in my life. I have made friendships and have become a healthier version of me through the wonderful, caring guidance of Susan, the owner, and her dedicated staff. Highly recommend!!

The teachers are caring and knowledgeable and the staff will help you if you are new to yoga. I recently got back into it this summer and they have been unbelievable helpful in transforming my body, I go to three classes a week and not only are they beyond reasonable for yoga, money-wise, but I already see my abs and triceps developing. My posture is better and thanks to arch supports and these class I no longer have back pain.

Everyone teaching here is friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about yoga (and not just the…read morephysical practice). The grounds are beautiful, the studio is peaceful, warm, and relaxing, but the classes range from relaxing and meditative to more challenging and fast paced. Some classes are more about the theory of yoga and some are more about the physical practice. There really is something for everyone.

I started out taking a class called Yin on Monday nights and fell completely in love with the studio! I try to get there about four or five times a week to do my Baptiste/Vinyasa flow classes! Monday night in classes are the best! They are a nice slow and deep gentle stretch which is the counterpart of the power class! All the classes are the best really!! Who am I kidding!? The teachers there are all extremely knowledgeable about yoga! Not to mention they are some of the friendliest people you'd ever want to meet! I just love my yoga community at Power Yoga Buffalo in East Aurora! I have only been practicing there for about five months but I firmly believe this is going to be a lifelong thing for me. The studio is well-equipped with 2 bathrooms and two changing rooms if you ever need to get there right after work or are not able to change before coming in. I started my journey on April Fool's Day instead. Yes, really. I began with a body scan to see just how "fat" I really was. Was is the key word here. Don't get me wrong, it took years to get where I was, but if I hadn't stopped the trend, I would be much larger today. And now after months of training with Nichole, the results are showing. I've lost some weight, but more importantly, I've gained muscle and real strength. Today I did seven full minutes of cardio. That might not sound like much, but for me, that is a huge win. I tried the trendy medications. The side effects and cost were just too much. So I went old school. Hard work, consistency, and guidance. That is where Nichole and EA Fitness come in. Nichole has the perfect balance of care and challenge. She pushes me beyond what I think I can do, but never so far that I risk hurting myself trying to beat my last session. She knows exactly when to push and when to pull back, and that kind of expertise matters more than people realize. I never find myself waiting for cardio machines or weights; there's plenty of options. A big bonus for me is that there are very few days that this gym is closed. I feel like it's really only Christmas that they aren't open at all. On holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc. they have "member only hours," where you scan in with your fob and there may not be staff at the desk. If you're looking for a gym in the Southtowns that is clean, low volume, and has flexible hours, this is a perfect fit!
