That is long gone now. This chain just isn't what it used to be and the word Loreal is just ringing on back of my head when ever I even see their green logo. All those familiar smells and classics are still there but there is so much out there and unfortunate to amid, but I feel like the Body Shop is dragging behind with the competition. There hasn't been nothing really new for a long time. They still have some nice products like the Hemp hand cream that saves my fragile skin every winter. I finally got my wish this September and visited the shop in Covent Garden, this is the place for perfume and make up. It's like the big sophisticated sister to Lush, from bare minimal packaging to elaborate(but recyclable as they sell refills) beautiful pots. The make up is naturally based and certainly suits my skin far better than estee lauder. Perfumes can be tested with coffee beans to neutralise overused noses! For over an hour a salesperson helped us sort through scent after scent, narrowing our selections down. The salesperson told us all the mythical and real background of the scents which was a treat as we went through a ton of scents. I'd not even planned on getting perfume but after all that work, I fell in love with a scent, Liquid Love, and I bought it. It's such a beautiful rose scent with a kick of spice to it. Happy to have done this experience and recommend it for others. It was kinda magical.
