The overall atmosphere is fantastic--intimate, stylish, and lively in a way that makes it a great place to spend an evening even if the drinks fall short. Overall, it feels a bit overhyped. Beer is 3 euros a bottle, and surprisingly, it is one of the only places that serves good Belgian beer in Paris. Let your expectations go and bring your best French skills. While it's a little small, there are a few tables and some bar seating. We were able to snag a table pretty quickly once a couple left. The first drink I ordered was the Lone Palm, which was made from a dill and cucumber infused gin, mixed with thai basil, lime and ginger beer. It was absolutely amazing and much better than I expected. My husband's first drink was the Palm Springs, which was vodka with pineapple cordial, fresh basil and lime. For our second drink, I ordered the Gold Rush and he ordered the Salton Sea, but we ended up swapping our drinks with each other. We came on a Thursday and it was pretty packed, possibly due to people being in town for fashion week. We'll definitely be back!

My two meats and two cheeses -- I asked the bartender to pick -- were delicious and almost more than I could eat. I sat in a worn-out high backed chair and listened to American jazz from the trio behind me. They stopped playing too soon for my taste and the small place, crowded, thinned out quickly.
