I immediately went next door, as my neighbor works in the office, and told her I needed someone to do something. This morning I called the office and my neighbor answers. When I asked what was going on she told me I would have to wait till Friday when pest control comes. First it was mice, then monster cockroaches (which I'm still battling), now it's snakes. After I left, they tried to tell me they had to replace the carpet and charging me an additional $750 and I went over and the new tenant let me check and it is the same carpet I cleaned when I moved. A LOT OF MOLD Problems, and Unfair Charges at The Jolly Roger Apartments…read more I lived at The Jolly Roger Apartments in Greenville for 3 years as a student. Before leaving for summer break, everything in my apartment was clean--I had cleared out all food and left only my clothes behind. When I returned, I found my entire apartment covered in mold--on the walls, ceilings, and many of my personal belongings. The mold was so severe that I had to move out immediately for health and safety reasons. My clothes were ruined by the mold despite being the only things left in the apartment. I took photos to document the conditions. I was told that somehow this was my fault and am being charged for it. I spoke with someone who had worked in HVAC for over 30 years and they explained the reasons were due to the HVAC system itself and a buildup of water within the system. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The staff is also very rude and does not try to help at all they just charge you.
