The Apartment Search in NYC can very much be a disaster, unless you have the opportunity to work with a skilled and experienced broker. During my search, I was introduced to Huma Moid at the Braswell Group and immediately put me at ease during my search. I was being relocated to NYC for work and I can honestly not say enough about the positive experience I had working with Huma during my search. I was very honest on what I was looking for in my apartment search (price range, neighborhoods, amenities, etc) and Huma compiled an itinerary for me to look over of apartments that hit everything I asked for, this may it so much easier as there was no wasted time on a place I couldn't afford or a neighborhood I had no interest in living in. Grant helped me find my apartment two years ago when I moved to New York from Dallas. I heard horror stories about the NY rental market and brokers, but Grant was a friend of a friend, so I agreed to work with him. My brother found Grant when he was moving to the city for his residency program. He was on a tight budget, but Grant made it work, and my brother was extremely happy with the process.
